Order code | Manufacturer model | Camera part | When to choose it |
|---|---|---|---|
1106798 | MVC S80-C5U-000 | SmartVision 80 | a large room with one 3+1 eye PTZ camera, 20x optical zoom and compute power in the camera itself |
1106799 | MVC S90-C5U-004 | 2× UVC86 | a hall that has to be covered from two points with the signal routed through the AVHub |
1106797 | MVC S98-C5U-004 | SmartVision 80, quantity confirmed before you order | the top system of the range; it handles up to nine cameras and includes a PoE+ switch |
1106984 | MVC860-C5-000 (this product) | UVC86 | the base kit with a PTZ camera and no audio; the compute part is an MCore Pro |
1106897 | MVC860-C5-710 | UVC86 | compared with the -000 code it adds VCM35 table microphones, an MSpeaker II and an RCH40 PoE switch |
The suffix after the letter "C" denotes the system's compute part. C5U is an MCore 4, an MTouch Plus and a RoomSensor, C5 is an MCore Pro, an MTouch Plus and a RoomSensor. The key is derived from the contents of the individual systems.
The SmartVision 80 is a 3+1 eye PTZ camera with a 20x optical lens and a Qualcomm QCS8550 processor rated at 48 TOPS
The UVC86 is a PTZ camera with a 4K sensor and 20.4x zoom, of which 12x is optical and 1.7x digital
The UVC86 pans 200° horizontally and 130° vertically
The AVHub AV hub brings the signal from several cameras together and is part of the MVC S90 and MVC S98 systems
The MVC S98 system handles up to nine cameras at once
An RCH40 E2 PoE+ switch in the MVC S98 system and an RCH40 switch in the MVC860-C5-710
An MCore 4 compute part with an Intel Core Ultra 5, a 34 TOPS NPU, 16GB DDR5 and a 256GB SSD; the MVC860-C5 systems use an MCore Pro
A RoomSensor occupancy sensor with 120° detection and four-year battery life in every system in this group
In a large room the speaker often sits more than ten metres from the camera. That is why the MVC systems here build on PTZ cameras with optical zoom, that is on bringing the speaker closer without losing detail, rather than on cropping a wide image. The SmartVision 80 has a 20x optical lens and the UVC86 a 20.4x zoom, of which 12x is optical.
As soon as a room has more than one camera or longer cable runs, the system gains an AVHub AV hub to bring the signal together, and on some codes a PoE switch that powers the cameras and other elements. The MVC S90 and MVC S98 systems include an AVHub; the MVC S98 additionally an RCH40 E2 PoE+ switch and the MVC860-C5-710 an RCH40 switch.
The MVC S90 and MVC S98 systems include no audio, so microphones and speakers are designed and bought to suit the particular hall and connected to the AVHub. The exception is the MVC860-C5-710 code, where VCM35 table microphones and an MSpeaker II speaker are included. This is the item most often forgotten in a quote for a large room.
Optical zoom, so a distant speaker is brought closer without losing detail to a crop
The UVC86 pans 200° horizontally and 130° vertically, covering an irregularly laid out hall too
The MVC S98 system handles up to nine cameras, so it grows with the room
A PoE switch in the MVC S98 and MVC860-C5-710 systems, powering the cameras with no further hardware
The MVC S90 and MVC S98 systems include no audio. Microphones and speakers are bought and designed to suit the hall. Put them in the quote, or the hall will have no sound.
We will confirm how many SmartVision 80 cameras the MVC S98 system holds before you order. Our price list says three.
We will confirm the remote control in the MVC S98 contents before you order. Our price list mentions a VCR remote, so do not carry it into the quote for now.
The VCM35 microphones are part of the MVC860-C5-710 system. We will confirm the exact quantity at order time.
The new selling bundle of the MVC860 range is the MVC860-C5U-000 with an MCore 4 and the MCore Pro variant is ending. That belongs in a long-term quote.
Compare the contents of the MVC S90 and MVC S98 systems with the -004 suffix component by component.
Some features depend on the platform licence, not on the device. Two displays on Microsoft Teams Rooms need the Pro licence, see the atlantis note.
Only two CM20 ceiling microphones and two CS10 speakers connect straight to the AVHub. For more units and more cameras the system needs a suitable PoE+ switch, see the atlantis note.
Which code to order
For a large meeting room with one front, 1106798 (MVC S80-C5U-000) with the SmartVision 80. For a hall that has to be covered from two points, 1106799 (MVC S90-C5U-004) with two UVC86 cameras and an AVHub. Where the system will grow with further cameras, 1106797 (MVC S98-C5U-004) with its PoE+ switch.
Ask for the audio design separately
Codes 1106799 and 1106797 include no audio in the system contents. Go through the microphone and speaker design for the hall's acoustics and dimensions with us before you give the customer a price. The 1106897 system (MVC860-C5-710) does include audio, that is VCM35 microphones and an MSpeaker II.
Mind the MVC860 life cycle
The new selling bundle is the MVC860-C5U-000 with an MCore 4 and the MCore Pro variant is being sold off. On long-term projects and framework quotes, check the status with us so the customer does not receive a system that cannot be extended with the same code a year later.
Network and installation belong in the quote
PTZ cameras, an AVHub and a switch mean cable runs, mounting points and power. Neither a display, nor network cables, nor a room account is part of any system. For halls we recommend walking the room with us before the quote goes out, that is before the installation price is calculated.
The platform licence decides the features
Some features of a meeting room system are set not by the hardware but by the licence of the communication platform. On Microsoft Teams Rooms a typical example is dual screen support, which belongs to the paid Pro licence, while the free Basic licence lacks it and is also capped at 25 licences per organisation. The feature comparison is on Microsoft's website. Include the licence in the quote from the start; adding it afterwards is awkward.
The AVHub power budget
The AVHub powers directly at most two UVC86 or three SmartVision 80 cameras, plus two CM20 and two CS10. For more cameras, up to nine, and for up to four CM20 and four CS10 the system needs a gigabit PoE+ switch to 802.3at with the EEE feature switched off. The RCH40 switch cannot switch EEE off and does not work with CM20 and CS10 ceiling audio. The RCH40 E2 in the MVC S98 system has EEE switched off and works with ceiling audio.
Recommended use | the MVC860 range is for medium and large rooms, and the MVC S90 and S98 are ProAV systems |
|---|---|
System capacity | the MVC S98 handles up to nine cameras at once |
Place in the portfolio | a complete system for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows; display and room account are not included |
A large meeting room, a conference hall or a training space. A room where the speaker is far from the camera and optical zoom is needed. A hall to be covered from several points. An environment where the customer requires Windows and the Microsoft Teams Rooms application.
How many cameras the hall needs and where they will sit. How the audio will be handled, as it is not included with the S90 and S98. Where the cable runs and the rack will be. Whether a PoE switch is needed. How many displays and how they are hung. Who will create the room account in Microsoft Teams.
The MVC systems for small and medium rooms where one video bar above the display is enough. An all-in-one video bar where the room need not run Windows. A MeetingBoard where the device should replace the display as well.
The "Verify" and "Consider another model" cards come from the experience of the atlantis team.
Recommended
All of these systems carry this certification. The room has its own account and the meeting starts from the calendar on the touch controller.

The atlantis team will help with every point. From designing the system and the mounting through configuring the platform and the room account to training the users and handing over documentation. On these systems we will also confirm the camera count in code 1106797, the VCM35 microphone count in code 1106897 and the life-cycle status of the MVC860 range with your order.
Management follows the platform: in native mode the device is managed from the administration of the platform the room runs.
Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS): cloud management of Yealink devices, that is bulk firmware updates, status monitoring and alerts. Support and the scope of management differ by model and licence, so check both with us for the specific device and system.
atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we deliver projects through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope. On one project we take on the whole delivery, on another we cover just the part the partner currently lacks capacity or specialisation for, and on a third the partner manages alone and uses us only for a consultation.
Before the decision: a consultation on choosing the system and a comparison of the suitable options. The recommendation is built on the size and the character of the room, that is light, acoustics, shape, seating layout and furnishing, then on headcount and on how meetings are actually run there. We offer a live demonstration at our premises, which the partner can bring their customer to, and where it is warranted a test installation, that is a proof of concept.
Delivery and installation: transport, professional mounting and the work that goes with it, that is cabling, installation material, brackets and room alterations. We handle the installation in full, or support the partner's own team where needed.
Network readiness and security: we advise on preparing the network for the demands of two-way real-time video, that is throughput, latency and traffic prioritisation, and on securing the communication.
Configuration and integration: setting up the communication platform and the room account, connecting to the network, and advice on linking and integrating third-party software and hardware.
Training and documentation: training prepared to match the user's role, that is one thing for room users and another for administrators, plus preparation of both project and user documentation.
Service and support after the sale: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.
The standard warranty on Yealink products is 24 months. On top of it we offer two different things that are easy to confuse.
Extended warranty
Extends the warranty period, that is how long the customer is entitled to repair or replacement of a faulty unit. The abbreviation stands for Assurance Maintenance Services.
1 to 3 years
Service programme
Changes how the service is delivered. It covers priority support with escalation during business hours, advance hardware replacement with the unit dispatched the next business day from local European service stock, warranty service aligned with the licence period, the YMCS-Room-Professional package, software updates and access to the Yealink online support centre.
2 to 5 years
Take note
A customer buys one of them, not both. AMS is enough where a longer warranty is all that is needed, PrimeCare is the choice where room downtime is expensive and the customer needs fast replacement and management. For video products the cap on total warranty is five years, and AMS is bought consecutively, so it must not leave a gap at the end of the existing warranty.

AMS for the MVC S80-C5U-000 510102001537, 510102001539 and 510102001541 for one to three years, for the MVC S90-C5U-004 510102001551, 510102001553 and 510102001555, for the MVC S98-C5U-004 510102001562, 510102001565 and 510102001566. We hold no separate AMS line for either MVC860 system. PrimeCare is ordered by the room size class, for the MVC/ZVC Large Room 510102000883 to 510102000886 and for the MVC/ZVC Extra Large Room 510102000887 to 510102000890, in each case for two to five years.
The Yealink MVC S90-C5U-004 and MVC S98-C5U-004 systems list cameras, an AVHub, a compute unit, a controller, a sensor and, on the S98, a PoE+ switch, but they include no audio. Microphones and speakers are designed for the hall and bought separately. The exception is the MVC860-C5-710 code, where VCM35 microphones and an MSpeaker II speaker are included.
The Yealink MVC S98-C5U-004 system holds an MCore 4, an MTouch Plus, a SmartVision 80, an AVHub, an RCH40 E2 PoE+ switch, a RoomSensor and a BYOD-Extender. We will confirm the number of SmartVision 80 cameras before you order. Our price list mentions three.
Yes. Yealink MVC systems for large rooms build on PTZ cameras. The SmartVision 80 has a 20x optical lens, and the UVC86 a 20.4x zoom of which 12x is optical and 1.7x digital, panning 200° horizontally and 130° vertically.
The new selling bundle of the MVC860 range is the MVC860-C5U-000 with an MCore 4 and the MCore Pro variant is ending. Codes 1106984 and 1106897, which we hold, have an MCore Pro compute part. On long-term projects, check the life-cycle status with us.
The Yealink MVC S90-C5U-004 and MVC S98-C5U-004 systems carry a numeric suffix from which it cannot be taken that the two systems are equipped alike. We will confirm the contents of each code before you order.
An RCH40 E2 PoE+ switch is part of the MVC S98-C5U-004 system and an RCH40 switch part of the MVC860-C5-710. The MVC S80-C5U-000, MVC S90-C5U-004 and MVC860-C5-000 include no switch. Design the camera power and the cable runs separately on those codes.
