Description

A whole small room in one body

The MeetingBar A10 brings the camera, microphones, speaker and the compute unit together in one 380 mm body. The huddle room therefore gains no separate PC, no separate camera and no table microphones, which shortens the installation and reduces the number of places where something can come unplugged. The box holds the power adapter and the cabling, that is a 3 m ethernet cable and a 1.8 m HDMI cable.

A wide view without a moving head

The camera has a 120-degree diagonal and 105-degree horizontal field of view, so in a small room it covers the table and the people to the sides. Zooming and panning are handled by four times e-PTZ, that is an electronic crop of the image rather than a mechanical head. The lens is protected by an electrically operated cap whose state is visible from the room itself.

A native meeting room system for Teams and Zoom

In its default deployment the A10 is a standalone meeting room system with its own room account. The meeting starts from the calendar on the device itself, with no laptop, and Teams and Zoom come in one order code. Instead of either, the device can be configured for General Mode and call over SIP and H.323 with registration to a SIP registry or an H.323 gatekeeper. Choosing the platform is a configuration step during deployment, not a switch during a meeting.

For Microsoft Teams this is the Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android variant. The A10 is on Microsoft's certified device list for a small room of 4.5 × 4.5 m, with firmware on Android 13 and a certification end date of 15 August 2028, which tells the customer how long the investment will last. The date applies to firmware on Android 13; firmware on Android 11 lost its certification on 3 September 2026, so update the device before deployment. For Zoom Rooms the certified system is the one with the CTP18 touch panel, that is code 1203684.

Or as a USB peripheral, with guest BYOD kept separate

The second option is to run the A10 in Device Mode as a peripheral of a connected computer. The video bar then serves as camera, microphone and speaker and handles any platform that computer can run. This is a different way of running the whole room, not BYOD. Guest laptop BYOD in a natively deployed room, that is content sharing plus the room camera and audio for the laptop, runs over a cable through the VCH51 Pro hub 1303229 or wirelessly through the PA20 pod 1303185.

Strengths and limits

Strengths

  • The smallest body in the range at 380 mm, it fits even above a small huddle room display

  • The power adapter, the ethernet and HDMI cables and the mounting bracket are in the box

  • Native Teams and Zoom come in one order code, the platform is a matter of configuration

  • The lens cap is electric, so the privacy state is visible from the room

Limits and what to tell the customer

  • The control method is fixed by the order code. The VCR11 remote and the CTP18 touch panel do not come in one box, see the variants table above.

  • One HDMI output, that is one display. For two displays the range offers models with two outputs, typically the A30 or the A50.

  • The zoom is electronic, four times e-PTZ; it is neither an optical zoom nor a mechanical head.

  • For a longer table work from the models where the pickup distance is known, that is the A30 and A40 at 6 m or the A50 at 10 m.

  • The Teams Rooms certification to 15 August 2028 applies to firmware on Android 13. Update the device before deployment. Bluetooth is version 4.2; newer models in the range have Wi-Fi 6.

  • Only one expansion microphone. One VCM35 table microphone can be connected to the A10; the A10 supports neither the CM20 ceiling microphone nor CS10 ceiling speakers.

  • Some features depend on the platform licence, not on the device. On Microsoft Teams Rooms the Basic or Pro licence decides, see the atlantis note.

⚑ atlantis note

Which code to order

The control method decides. 1203680 includes the VCR11 remote, 1203684 includes the CTP18 touch panel with an 8 inch screen. We recommend the panel where anyone should be able to start a meeting from the table without hunting for a remote, that is in shared huddle rooms. For a home office the remote is usually enough.

Count on one display

The A10 has one HDMI output. If the customer wants one display for participants and a second for shared content, the quote needs a model with two outputs, not the A10. This is the most common reason a system has to be reworked after installation.

Wired content sharing

For sharing content from a laptop the A10 has a USB-C port. The cable belongs in the quote too; in our range it is 3311058, a 3 m USB-C cable listed specifically for the A10. Without it, content sharing ends up relying on whatever the customer happens to have in the table socket.

The platform licence decides the features

Some features of a meeting room system are set not by the hardware but by the licence of the communication platform. On Microsoft Teams Rooms the free Basic licence is capped at 25 licences per organisation and lacks a range of room management and operating features, which belong to the paid Pro licence. The feature comparison is on Microsoft's website. Include the licence in the quote from the start; adding it afterwards is awkward.

Good fit

A huddle room, a small meeting room and a home office. A requirement for a room with its own account and meetings started from the calendar. One display. A Microsoft Teams or Zoom environment. A rollout across many rooms where the price per room decides.

Verify

Which platform the room should run natively. Whether a remote is enough or a touch panel is needed. How far from the camera the furthest person sits. Whether the customer will share content over a cable and has a USB-C cable for it. Whether there is a network socket where the device is to be mounted.

Consider another model

The A25 or A30 where a known microphone pickup distance or two displays are needed. The A40 and A50 for medium and larger rooms. A MeetingBoard where the device should replace the display as well and serve as a whiteboard. The MVC S50 system with the A50 video bar or the MVC S40 with the SmartVision 40 where the customer requires Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows.

The "Verify" and "Consider another model" cards come from the experience of the atlantis team.

What to check before ordering and deploying

  1. Platform: which one the room should run natively, Teams or Zoom, and who will create the room account

  2. Control: the VCR11 remote or the CTP18 touch panel, fixed by the order code

  3. Display: the A10 has one HDMI output, so choose another model if two displays are required

  4. Mounting: the bracket with accessories is in the box, confirm how it fixes to the display or the wall

  5. Network: a socket where the device is mounted, cable or Wi-Fi, and the network rules for room devices

  6. Content sharing: wired over USB-C with cable 3311058, or wireless with pod 1303112

  7. Room size: we will confirm the microphone pickup distance for the A10 at order time; for a longer table we will check whether another model suits better

  8. Support: PrimeCare or extended warranty, order it with the device

The atlantis team will help with every point. From designing the system and the mounting through configuring the platform and the room account to training the users and handing over documentation. On the A10 we also recommend having General Mode confirmed if the room is to call over SIP or H.323.

Management and services

  • Management follows the platform: in native mode the device is managed from the administration of the platform the room runs.

  • Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS): cloud management of Yealink devices, that is bulk firmware updates, status monitoring and alerts. Support and the scope of management differ by model and licence, so check both with us for the specific device and system.

atlantis services for partners

atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we deliver projects through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope. On one project we take on the whole delivery, on another we cover just the part the partner currently lacks capacity or specialisation for, and on a third the partner manages alone and uses us only for a consultation.

  • Before the decision: a consultation on choosing the system and a comparison of the suitable options. The recommendation is built on the size and the character of the room, that is light, acoustics, shape, seating layout and furnishing, then on headcount and on how meetings are actually run there. We offer a live demonstration at our premises, which the partner can bring their customer to, and where it is warranted a test installation, that is a proof of concept.

  • Delivery and installation: transport, professional mounting and the work that goes with it, that is cabling, installation material, brackets and room alterations. We handle the installation in full, or support the partner's own team where needed.

  • Network readiness and security: we advise on preparing the network for the demands of two-way real-time video, that is throughput, latency and traffic prioritisation, and on securing the communication.

  • Configuration and integration: setting up the communication platform and the room account, connecting to the network, and advice on linking and integrating third-party software and hardware.

  • Training and documentation: training prepared to match the user's role, that is one thing for room users and another for administrators, plus preparation of both project and user documentation.

  • Service and support after the sale: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.

Warranty

The standard warranty on Yealink products is 24 months. On top of it we offer two different things that are easy to confuse.

Extended warranty

AMS

Extends the warranty period, that is how long the customer is entitled to repair or replacement of a faulty unit. The abbreviation stands for Assurance Maintenance Services.

1 to 3 years

Service programme

PrimeCare

Changes how the service is delivered. It covers priority support with escalation during business hours, advance hardware replacement with the unit dispatched the next business day from local European service stock, warranty service aligned with the licence period, the YMCS-Room-Professional package, software updates and access to the Yealink online support centre.

2 to 5 years

Take note

Which one to pick

A customer buys one of them, not both. AMS is enough where a longer warranty is all that is needed, PrimeCare is the choice where room downtime is expensive and the customer needs fast replacement and management. For video products the cap on total warranty is five years, and AMS is bought consecutively, so it must not leave a gap at the end of the existing warranty.

Order codes. AMS for the A10-010 510102001015 to 510102001017, for the A10-020 510102001027 to 510102001029, each for one to three years. PrimeCare for video bars is ordered by room size class; for the Meetingbar Small Room class the codes are 510102000867 to 510102000870 for two to five years. We will confirm which class a specific room falls into with the order.

FAQ

What is the difference between codes 1203680 and 1203684?

The Yealink MeetingBar A10 video bar is the same on both. 1203680 includes the VCR11 remote control, 1203684 includes the eight-inch CTP18 touch panel. Swapping them afterwards means placing another order.

Does the room need a computer to run?

The Yealink MeetingBar A10 has its own compute unit on Android, so in native mode the room has its own account and the meeting starts from the calendar on the device itself. A computer is only needed in Device Mode, where the A10 serves as the camera and audio of a connected laptop.

Can the A10 drive two displays?

The Yealink MeetingBar A10 has one HDMI output, that is one display. For two displays the range offers a model with two outputs, that is the A30, A40 or A50.

Can the A10 call over SIP and H.323?

The Yealink MeetingBar A10 calls over SIP and H.323 in General Mode, where it registers to a SIP registry or an H.323 gatekeeper. We will confirm the minimum firmware version and any licence for the specific project.

How far from the device do the microphones still pick up?

The Yealink MeetingBar A10 has an array of eight MEMS microphones. The A30 and A40 pick up to 6 metres and the A50 to 10 metres, so if pickup distance is part of the customer's brief, choose a model where it is known.

Are the power adapter and cables in the box?

Yes, the Yealink MeetingBar A10 box holds the power adapter, a 3 m ethernet cable, a 1.8 m HDMI cable, a mounting bracket with accessories and a Quick Start Guide. The USB-C cable for wired content sharing is not included; in our range its code is 3311058.
