Description
Three models, three different jobs
The SmartVision 40 is a classic USB video bar with two 48MP lenses, a microphone array and stereo speakers, that is the whole conferencing peripheral in one body for a smaller or medium room. The SmartVision 60 is a tabletop camera with a single panoramic lens covering 360 degrees, which stands in the middle of the meeting table and captures everyone around it. The SmartVision 80 is a premium PTZ camera with four lenses, one of them with twenty times optical zoom, meant for large rooms and broadcasts.
A USB peripheral, not a standalone system
All three models connect to the room as peripherals, that is as the camera, the microphone and on two of them the speaker of a connected computer or compute unit. This range does not do SIP, H.323 or General Mode, and rightly so, because these are not calling endpoints. The meeting is always run by the computer; the camera supplies image and audio.
Certification and box contents
NDI HX3 certification on the SmartVision 80 is confirmed by the official NDI registry, the custodian of the standard. We confirm the box contents of the SmartVision 40 and 60 at order time, so put them in a quote only once we have confirmed them.
Strengths and limits

Limits and what to tell the customer
These are not room systems. The range does not do SIP, H.323 or General Mode. The room always needs a computer or a compute unit.
We confirm the box contents of the SmartVision 40 and 60 at order time. Our price list promises the VCR20 remote and specific cable lengths. Put them in a quote only once we have confirmed them.
The SmartVision 80 box contains no cables. The box holds the camera, a power supply, a mount kit, the VCR20 remote and a Quick Start Guide. Add the USB and network cables to the quote.
The SmartVision 80 has three electronic cameras and one PTZ. Our price list says "1×8MP and 3×48MP"; we will confirm that figure at order time.
Dante support on the SmartVision 80 is not there yet; it is announced as "coming in future version".
Only the SmartVision 40 carries Microsoft Teams Rooms certification.
The SmartVision 40 requires the original Yealink power adapter at 48 V / 0.7 A.
⚑ atlantis note
Which model for which job
The shape of the room and the distance decide. The SmartVision 40 goes on the front wall of a smaller or medium room, with pickup up to 6 metres. The SmartVision 60 goes in the middle of the meeting table where people sit all around and a front camera would show half of them from behind. The SmartVision 80 goes into a large hall, for lectures and broadcasts, where optical zoom and speaker tracking up to 20 metres are needed.
Check the box contents with us
The SmartVision 80 box holds no cables. Our price list nevertheless mentions cables or a remote on all three. Before you promise the customer a complete delivery, talk to us and we will confirm the contents of the delivery at order time.
The SmartVision 40 shares its body with the MeetingBar A40
The dimensions and weight of the SmartVision 40 match the MeetingBar A40, that is 650 × 62 × 80 mm and 5.54 kg. It is not a transcription error, it is the same body in a different role. For mounting that means shared brackets, the tabletop 3311067 and the MeetingDisplay AV bracket 3311110. The recommended mounting height is 1.1 metres above the floor.
NDI yes, Dante not yet
The SmartVision 80 is certified for the NDI HX3 profile, confirmed by the official NDI registry, the custodian of the standard. The correct profile name is NDI HX3, not HDX3. Dante is not there yet, it is announced as a feature of a future version. Do not propose this camera where Dante is a condition of the brief.
Which room it suits
SmartVision 40 | a smaller or medium room, voice pickup up to 6 metres, recommended mounting height 1.1 m |
|---|---|
SmartVision 60 | a medium room, the camera on the meeting table, depth of field 0.5 to 10 metres |
SmartVision 80 | a large room and broadcasts, speaker tracking effective up to 20 metres |
Place in the portfolio | intelligent conference cameras connected as USB peripherals |
Good fit
A room served by a computer or by the system's compute unit. A customer who alternates platforms and does not want a room with its own account. A meeting table with people all around, which calls for the SmartVision 60. A large hall with lectures and broadcasting, which calls for the SmartVision 80 with optical zoom and NDI.
Verify
Exactly what is in the box on the 40 and 60, which we confirm at order time. Which cables the installation will need, as the 80 has none in the box. How the camera will be mounted and at what height. Which platform certification the customer requires, as only the SmartVision 40 carries Teams Rooms. Whether NDI or Dante is in the brief.
Consider another model
The MeetingBar range where the room should have its own account and start meetings from the calendar. A MeetingBoard where the device should replace the display as well. The UVC range of cameras where a room camera alone is enough, without microphones and speakers.
The "Verify" and "Consider another model" cards come from the experience of the atlantis team.

What to check before ordering and deploying
Who runs the meeting: the camera is a USB peripheral, so the room needs a computer or a compute unit
Which model: a front video bar, a 360-degree tabletop camera, or a PTZ for a large hall
Box contents: we will confirm them for the SmartVision 40 and 60 for you
Cabling: the SmartVision 80 box holds no cables, so add them to the quote
Power: the SmartVision 40 requires the original Yealink adapter at 48 V / 0.7 A
Mounting: the SmartVision 40 recommends 1.1 m height; mounts
3311067and3311110are not in the boxCertification and video over the network: Teams Rooms is carried only by the SmartVision 40, NDI HX3 by the SmartVision 80, Dante not yet
Support: AMS extended warranty, order it with the device
The atlantis team will help with every point. From designing the system and the mounting through wiring and configuration to training the users and handing over documentation. On the SmartVision range we also confirm the box contents at order time, so you do not promise the customer items that are not in it.
Management and services
Management follows the platform: in native mode the device is managed from the administration of the platform the room runs.
Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS): cloud management of Yealink devices, that is bulk firmware updates, status monitoring and alerts. Support and the scope of management differ by model and licence, so check both with us for the specific device and system.
atlantis services for partners
atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we deliver projects through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope. On one project we take on the whole delivery, on another we cover just the part the partner currently lacks capacity or specialisation for, and on a third the partner manages alone and uses us only for a consultation.
Before the decision: a consultation on choosing the system and a comparison of the suitable options. The recommendation is built on the size and the character of the room, that is light, acoustics, shape, seating layout and furnishing, then on headcount and on how meetings are actually run there. We offer a live demonstration at our premises, which the partner can bring their customer to, and where it is warranted a test installation, that is a proof of concept.
Delivery and installation: transport, professional mounting and the work that goes with it, that is cabling, installation material, brackets and room alterations. We handle the installation in full, or support the partner's own team where needed.
Network readiness and security: we advise on preparing the network for the demands of two-way real-time video, that is throughput, latency and traffic prioritisation, and on securing the communication.
Configuration and integration: setting up the communication platform and the room account, connecting to the network, and advice on linking and integrating third-party software and hardware.
Training and documentation: training prepared to match the user's role, that is one thing for room users and another for administrators, plus preparation of both project and user documentation.
Service and support after the sale: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.
Warranty
The standard warranty on Yealink products is 24 months. On top of it we offer two different things that are easy to confuse.
Extended warranty
AMS
Extends the warranty period, that is how long the customer is entitled to repair or replacement of a faulty unit. The abbreviation stands for Assurance Maintenance Services.
1 to 3 years
Service programme
PrimeCare
Changes how the service is delivered. It covers priority support with escalation during business hours, advance hardware replacement with the unit dispatched the next business day from local European service stock, warranty service aligned with the licence period, the YMCS-Room-Professional package, software updates and access to the Yealink online support centre.
2 to 5 years
Take note
Which one to pick
A customer buys one of them, not both. AMS is enough where a longer warranty is all that is needed, PrimeCare is the choice where room downtime is expensive and the customer needs fast replacement and management. For video products the cap on total warranty is five years, and AMS is bought consecutively, so it must not leave a gap at the end of the existing warranty.

AMS for one to three years: SmartVision 40 510102001604, 510102001603 and 510102001602, SmartVision 60 510102001595, 510102001593 and 510102001591, SmartVision 80 510102001586, 510102001583 and 510102001582. PrimeCare is ordered by room size class against the whole system, not against a USB camera on its own, so check the placement with us for the specific project.
