Description
A head-on view of everyone at the table
The room's front-of-room camera shoots the table from one place, so people sitting side-on to it appear in profile. The MTower stands in the middle of the table and adds views from its centre. IntelliVision builds the shots from both sources and picks the best head-on view for every participant, so the far end sees faces from the front wherever anyone sits.
Three lenses in a ring
The MTower has three built-in 4K cameras arranged in a ring, each with an 8MP Sony sensor. The central telephoto lens has a 84.4° horizontal field of view and points at the far end of the table, the two wide-angle side lenses at 151° horizontally each cover the area around the camera. Together they give 322° of coverage. The lenses are protected by a magnetic levitation cover that rises and falls with the meeting status, moves without friction and silently, and closes all three at once.
Which devices it belongs to
The MTower connects over a single VCH port on RJ-45 and the box holds a 7.5 metre CAT5e cable for it. It works with the MeetingBar A401206675 from firmware 289.320.0.70 and with the MeetingBar A501206706, where one unit applies from firmware 323.320.0.45 and two units from firmware 323.320.0.71. On the MeetingBoard Pro support is announced. In our range the MTower is also part of the MVC S40 Plus-C4-0001106894 system, whose make-up we confirm at order time.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
It adds a head-on view to the front-of-room camera, so the far end sees faces instead of profiles
Three 8MP sensors cover the area around the table with 322° of combined coverage
The lens cover rises and falls magnetically, without friction and without mechanical wear
The 6+1 beamforming microphone array sharpens where the speech is coming from
A single network cable to the host, with 7.5 m CAT5e and a tabletop bracket in the box
Limits and what to tell the customer
It is not the room camera and not a room system. The MTower works as a companion to the front-of-room camera, it does not run a meeting on its own.
The MeetingBar A10, A25 and A30 and the MeetingBoard C EDLA do not support the MTower. Do not design it into those systems.
On the MeetingBar A50 the firmware decides. One unit from version 323.320.0.45, two units only from version 323.320.0.71.
There is no power adapter in the box. The box holds the camera, a tabletop bracket and a 7.5 m CAT5e cable.
The camera is 303 mm tall and stands on the table. Sightlines over it and the cable route have to be thought through when the table is designed.
⚑ atlantis note
Where to put the MTower
In the middle of the meeting table, so the side lenses have a clear view both ways and the telephoto points at the far end. The camera is 303 mm tall and 142.5 mm across, so on the axis of the table it blocks the sightline. On a long table consider two units where the host allows it.
How many units and from which firmware
With the MeetingBar A50 one MTower applies from firmware 323.320.0.45 and two units from firmware 323.320.0.71. With the MeetingBar A40 the combination is fine from firmware 289.320.0.70, and we confirm the unit count for the specific project at order time. Check the firmware version on site before you promise the customer a date.
The MTower is a companion, not the main camera
Where the brief calls for a single camera in the room, the MTower does not belong. Its point is the combination with a front-of-room camera, where IntelliVision picks the best head-on view. Where a tabletop camera is to cover the whole room on its own, the SmartVision 60 1303130 with its 360° panoramic lens belongs instead.
The MTower in the MVC S40 Plus system
In our range we also carry the MTower as part of the MVC S40 Plus-C4-0001106894 system alongside the SmartVision 40 camera, the MCore Pro compute unit and the MTouch E2 controller. We confirm the make-up of this system at order time, so put it in a quote only once we have confirmed it.
Which room
Room size | a small and medium meeting room with the table in the middle |
|---|---|
Placement | on the table, in its centre, the tabletop bracket is in the box |
Voice pickup | a 6+1 microphone array with quality voice pickup up to 3 metres |
Place in the portfolio | a companion tabletop camera to the front-of-room camera, an accessory of MTR systems |
Good fit
A small and medium meeting room with a MeetingBar A40 or A50 video bar on the front wall. A table where people sit side-on to the front camera and come out in profile. A customer who cares that the far end sees faces. A Microsoft Teams Rooms system where IntelliVision is to build the image.
Check first
What video bar or host the room has and what firmware version it runs. How many MTower units the system carries, on the A40 we confirm that at order time. Whether a 303 mm tall camera blocks the sightline across the table. How the network cable reaches the table. The make-up of the MVC S40 Plus system, we confirm that at order time.
Consider another model
The SmartVision 60 1303130 where a tabletop camera is to cover the room on its own with a 360° panoramic lens. The UVC86 1206663 or SmartVision 80 1206679 where optical zoom from the front of a large hall is needed. The video bar alone where one view from the front is enough.
The „Good fit“ box follows the manufacturer's positioning of this model, the „Check first“ and „Consider another model“ boxes come from the atlantis team's practice.

What to check before ordering and deploying
Role in the room: the MTower is a companion to the front camera, it does not run a meeting on its own
Host: a MeetingBar A40 or A50, with the A10, A25, A30 and the MeetingBoard C EDLA the combination does not work
Firmware: the A40 from 289.320.0.70, the A50 one unit from 323.320.0.45 and two units from 323.320.0.71
Unit count: on the A50 one or two by firmware, on the A40 we confirm the count at order time
Room on the table: the camera is 142.5 mm across and 303 mm tall, think the sightline through first
Cabling: one VCH port on RJ-45, the box holds 7.5 m of CAT5e, plan a longer run with the table design
MVC S40 Plus system: we confirm the make-up of code

The atlantis team helps with every point. From system design and placing the camera on the table through wiring and configuration to user training and handover of the documentation. On the MTower we also confirm the unit count for the given system at order time, so you do not promise the customer a configuration the room's firmware will not carry.
Management and services
Management follows the platform: in native mode the device is managed from the administration of the platform the room runs.
Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS): cloud management of Yealink devices, that is bulk firmware updates, status monitoring and alerts. Support and the scope of management differ by model and licence, so check both with us for the specific device and system.
atlantis services for partners
atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we deliver projects through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope. On one project we take on the whole delivery, on another we cover just the part the partner currently lacks capacity or specialisation for, and on a third the partner manages alone and uses us only for a consultation.
Before the decision: a consultation on choosing the system and a comparison of the suitable options. The recommendation is built on the size and the character of the room, that is light, acoustics, shape, seating layout and furnishing, then on headcount and on how meetings are actually run there. We offer a live demonstration at our premises, which the partner can bring their customer to, and where it is warranted a test installation, that is a proof of concept.
Delivery and installation: transport, professional mounting and the work that goes with it, that is cabling, installation material, brackets and room alterations. We handle the installation in full, or support the partner's own team where needed.
Network readiness and security: we advise on preparing the network for the demands of two-way real-time video, that is throughput, latency and traffic prioritisation, and on securing the communication.
Configuration and integration: setting up the communication platform and the room account, connecting to the network, and advice on linking and integrating third-party software and hardware.
Training and documentation: training prepared to match the user's role, that is one thing for room users and another for administrators, plus preparation of both project and user documentation.
Service and support after the sale: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.
Warranty
The standard warranty on Yealink products is 24 months. On top of it we offer two different things that are easy to confuse.
Extended warranty
AMS
Extends the warranty period, that is how long the customer is entitled to repair or replacement of a faulty unit. The abbreviation stands for Assurance Maintenance Services.
1 to 3 years
Service programme
PrimeCare
Changes how the service is delivered. It covers priority support with escalation during business hours, advance hardware replacement with the unit dispatched the next business day from local European service stock, warranty service aligned with the licence period, the YMCS-Room-Professional package, software updates and access to the Yealink online support centre.
2 to 5 years
Take note
Which one to pick
A customer buys one of them, not both. AMS is enough where a longer warranty is all that is needed, PrimeCare is the choice where room downtime is expensive and the customer needs fast replacement and management. For video products the cap on total warranty is five years, and AMS is bought consecutively, so it must not leave a gap at the end of the existing warranty.

FAQ
What does the MTower do in the room?
The Yealink MTower is a tabletop companion camera. It stands in the middle of the meeting table and adds views from its centre to the room's front-of-room camera. IntelliVision then picks the best head-on view for every participant from both sources, so the far end sees faces rather than profiles.
What lenses and resolution does the MTower have?
The Yealink MTower has three built-in 4K cameras arranged in a ring, each with an 8MP Sony sensor. The central telephoto lens has a field of view of 93.5° diagonally, 84.4° horizontally and 53.1° vertically, the two wide-angle side lenses 182° diagonally, 151° horizontally and 81° vertically. Combined coverage is 322°.
Which devices does the MTower connect to?
