Description
Sharing at the table, not at the console
MVC systems handle wired sharing straight from the touch console, but the cable from the console often does not reach the seat the presenter is using. MShare E2 moves that function out of the console into a separate small body, which is placed or hidden closer to the presenter, inside the conference desk if needed. For installations that route the picture through an HDMI matrix it is a cleaner answer than running a cable across the whole table.
How the adapter is wired in
The adapter has three ports. The USB Type-B port is cabled to the USB-A port of the compute unit of the system, that is the mini PC. From the presenter's side an HDMI cable and a USB-C cable run into the adapter and carry the laptop. Before deployment, the Content Sharing option on the MTouch panel is turned off in the Yealink RoomConnect tool and the system is switched to Teams mode, so the two sharing paths do not compete.
Picture and audio from the laptop
Wired sharing carries the entire audio output of the computer, including the sound of a video being played. To keep the audio from looping, the system mutes the local audio automatically when sharing starts and restores it to its original state afterwards. Sharing ends by unplugging the HDMI and USB-C cable, or with the Stop Sharing button on the MTouch console.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
The body fits inside the conference desk, the cabling stays out of sight
Wired sharing needs no network and no pairing, the guest just plugs a cable in
Computer audio travels into the meeting together with the picture
A bi-colour light shows whether sharing is running
The separate body also helps where the picture is routed through an HDMI matrix
Limits and what to tell the customer
Sharing goes up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. Do not propose this adapter where 4K sharing is a requirement.
The adapter does not work on its own, it belongs to an MVC system with a compute unit and a touch console.
Content sharing on the MTouch console has to be turned off in the Yealink RoomConnect tool, otherwise the two paths compete.
The system has to be switched to Teams mode, so plan for that in rooms running another platform.
The adapter offers no wireless sharing, that is the job of presentation pod
1303185or1303112.The cable lengths from our price list, that is 1.2 m HDMI, 1.2 m USB-C and 7 m USB2, will be confirmed with the order.
⚑ atlantis note
When to deploy the adapter
When the cable from the touch console does not reach the presenter's seat. Typically at long conference tables and in rooms where the console sits by the door or at the head. The adapter goes closer to the people and the HDMI and USB-C cable only covers the last metre.
Wiring into the system
The USB Type-B port of the adapter is cabled to the USB-A port of the compute unit, the mini PC of the system. The laptop then connects to the adapter with an HDMI cable and a USB-C cable. Draw that route into the project before you plan to hide the adapter in furniture.
Do not skip the settings
In the Yealink RoomConnect tool the Content Sharing option on the MTouch panel is turned off and the system is switched to Teams mode. Without that, sharing from the console stays active and the room behaves unpredictably for users. Plan for it at handover and in the training.
Wired, or wireless
MShare E2 answers the wired case, where the guest needs neither the network nor any pairing. If the customer wants presenters free of cables, add presentation pod 1303185 or 1303112. Both paths can live in the same room.
Which room
Recommended use | wired content sharing for MVC systems |
|---|---|
Placement | conference table or cabinet, the body can be hidden in furniture |
Position in the portfolio | accessory to MVC systems, it does not work on its own |
Environment | operating temperature 0 to 40 °C, humidity 10 to 95 % |
Good fit
A room with an MVC system and a long conference table. An installation that routes the picture through an HDMI matrix and wants the adapter to disappear into furniture. A customer who wants sharing without pairing and without the network, that is, just plug a cable in. Meetings where video is played and the laptop audio has to be heard.
Check first
How far the compute unit sits from the presenter and what cable length will run to it. Whether the room runs in Teams mode. What ports the users' laptops have, the adapter offers an HDMI input and a USB-C input. Who turns off sharing on the MTouch console in the room, and when.
Consider another model
The VCH51 Pro hub where the laptop should connect with a single USB-C cable, charge at the same time and share up to 4K. The PA20 presentation pod where sharing should be wireless. RoomCast E2 where the room has no room system and sharing stands on its own at the display.
The „Good fit“ box follows the positioning the manufacturer gives this product, the „Check first“ and „Consider another model“ boxes come from the practice of the atlantis team.

The atlantis team helps with every point. From the cable route and wiring into the system through the RoomConnect settings to user training and handover documentation. Cable lengths in the box will be confirmed with the order, so you do not promise the customer metres that never arrive.
Management and services
Management follows the platform: in native mode the device is managed from the administration of the platform the room runs.
Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS): cloud management of Yealink devices, that is bulk firmware updates, status monitoring and alerts. Support and the scope of management differ by model and licence, so check both with us for the specific device and system.
atlantis services for partners
atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we deliver projects through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope. On one project we take on the whole delivery, on another we cover just the part the partner currently lacks capacity or specialisation for, and on a third the partner manages alone and uses us only for a consultation.
Before the decision: a consultation on choosing the system and a comparison of the suitable options. The recommendation is built on the size and the character of the room, that is light, acoustics, shape, seating layout and furnishing, then on headcount and on how meetings are actually run there. We offer a live demonstration at our premises, which the partner can bring their customer to, and where it is warranted a test installation, that is a proof of concept.
Delivery and installation: transport, professional mounting and the work that goes with it, that is cabling, installation material, brackets and room alterations. We handle the installation in full, or support the partner's own team where needed.
Network readiness and security: we advise on preparing the network for the demands of two-way real-time video, that is throughput, latency and traffic prioritisation, and on securing the communication.
Configuration and integration: setting up the communication platform and the room account, connecting to the network, and advice on linking and integrating third-party software and hardware.
Training and documentation: training prepared to match the user's role, that is one thing for room users and another for administrators, plus preparation of both project and user documentation.
Service and support after the sale: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.
Warranty
The standard warranty on Yealink products is 24 months. On top of it we offer two different things that are easy to confuse.
Extended warranty
AMS
Extends the warranty period, that is how long the customer is entitled to repair or replacement of a faulty unit. The abbreviation stands for Assurance Maintenance Services.
1 to 3 years
Service programme
PrimeCare
Changes how the service is delivered. It covers priority support with escalation during business hours, advance hardware replacement with the unit dispatched the next business day from local European service stock, warranty service aligned with the licence period, the YMCS-Room-Professional package, software updates and access to the Yealink online support centre.
2 to 5 years
Take note
Which one to pick
A customer buys one of them, not both. AMS is enough where a longer warranty is all that is needed, PrimeCare is the choice where room downtime is expensive and the customer needs fast replacement and management. For video products the cap on total warranty is five years, and AMS is bought consecutively, so it must not leave a gap at the end of the existing warranty.

Order codes. AMS for the MShare E2 510102001422 for one year, 510102001424 for two years and 510102001427 for three years. PrimeCare is not ordered for a content sharing adapter; the programme is tied to the room size class of the MVC, MeetingBar, MeetingBoard and BYOD systems.
FAQ
What is the MShare E2 for in a room?
The Yealink MShare E2 is a wired content sharing adapter for MVC systems. It moves sharing out of the touch console into a separate small body placed closer to the presenter, inside the conference desk if needed. The laptop then connects with an HDMI cable and a USB-C cable right at the table.
How is the adapter wired into the system?
The USB Type-B port of the adapter is cabled to the USB-A port of the compute unit of the system, the mini PC. From the user's side an HDMI cable and a USB-C cable run into the adapter. Before deployment the Content Sharing option on the MTouch panel is turned off in the Yealink RoomConnect tool and the system is switched to Teams mode.
What resolution does the adapter carry?
The Yealink MShare E2 shares content up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. Where 4K sharing is a requirement, the VCH51 Pro hub 1303229 is the better fit, as it handles up to 4K at 60 frames per second.
Does the laptop audio come through?
Yes. Wired sharing carries the entire audio output of the computer, including the sound of a played video and system notifications. To keep the audio from looping, the system mutes the local audio automatically when sharing starts and restores it afterwards.
What is in the box?
The Yealink MShare E2 box holds the adapter, a USB-C cable, an HDMI cable, a USB Type-A cable and a quick start guide. The cable lengths from our price list, that is 1.2 m HDMI, 1.2 m USB-C and 7 m USB2, will be confirmed with the order.
Does the adapter do wireless sharing too?
No. The Yealink MShare E2 is a wired solution. Wireless sharing in the same room is added by the PA20 pod 1303185 or the WPP30 1303112, or by the standalone RoomCast E2 1303214 system. The wired and wireless routes can live side by side in one room.
