Description
Monitor, camera and audio in one device
The DeskVision A24 is a desktop collaboration monitor with a 23.8-inch diagonal, 1920 × 1080 resolution and a 10-point touch layer. The body holds a 4K camera with an 83-degree field of view and a lens shutter that can be raised automatically or by hand, two microphones with intelligent noise suppression and stereo speakers rated 2 × 3 W. One device therefore stands on the desk in place of a monitor, a webcam and a separate speakerphone.
A laptop on a single USB-C cable
Video from the laptop arrives either over the HDMI input or over the USB-C 3.0 port in DP-IN mode. The same USB-C cable also powers the laptop with up to 45 W. On top of that the device has one downstream USB-C 3.0 port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, one USB-A 2.0 port and an RJ-45 network port, so on the desk it doubles as a dock for a keyboard, a mouse and other peripherals.
Its own system, or a computer monitor
Inside it runs Android 10.0 and the device is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, so it handles a video call on its own, with no computer attached. The device offers UC Workstation mode, Dual Mode and PC monitor mode along with content sharing and whiteboard. In PC monitor mode it serves as the display of the attached computer.
The device joins the network over the RJ-45 cable or over dual-band Wi-Fi at 2.4 and 5 GHz, and it carries Bluetooth 4.2 for peripherals. A phone laid on the device charges wirelessly to the Qi standard. Power is DC 19 V with a 19 W draw, so a socket at the desk is required.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
Display, camera, microphones and speakers in one device on the desk
A single USB-C cable carries the video and powers the laptop with up to 45 W
An HDMI input alongside the USB-C input, that is two video sources
USB-A and USB-C ports for peripherals, RJ-45 for the network and Qi wireless charging
Limits and what to tell the customer
The display resolution is 1920 × 1080 on a 23.8-inch diagonal. On a collaboration monitor in this class the customer often expects 4K, so say it up front.
This is a device for one workplace, not for a meeting room. The camera has an 83-degree field of view and there are two microphones. For a room a MeetingBar A video bar is the right answer.
Laptop power over USB-C reaches 45 W. On a laptop with a higher draw, check whether 45 W is enough for it, otherwise it needs its own adapter.
The device is powered from DC 19 V with a 19 W draw, so the USB-C cable from the laptop alone will not run it. There has to be a socket at the desk.
Inside are Android 10.0 and Bluetooth 4.2, an older generation than the MeetingBar A25 and A40 video bars on Android 13.
⚑ atlantis note
A different category from MeetingBar
Code 1303161 sits with the MeetingBar A range in our price list, but the DeskVision A24 is not a video bar. It is a desktop monitor for one workplace. It does not belong in a quote for a meeting room; a MeetingBar A or a MeetingBoard does.
What to say about resolution
The display is 1920 × 1080 on 23.8 inches. On a collaboration monitor in this class the customer often assumes 4K, so say it in the quote straight away. Afterwards it is an awkward conversation.
One cable to the laptop
The USB-C 3.0 port with DP-IN brings the video from the laptop and powers it with up to 45 W at the same time. That is the main selling point for a hot desk, where the user brings a laptop and plugs in a single cable. On more powerful laptops check the power draw, as 45 W may not be enough to charge under full load.
Extended warranty with the device
For the A24 we hold the AMS extended warranty for one to three years, codes 510102001033 to 510102001035. AMS is bought consecutively, following on from the end of the existing warranty, so include it in the quote together with the device.
Which workplace it suits
Recommended use | a desktop workplace for video calls, a shared hot desk and a home office |
|---|---|
Intended for | one workplace, not for a meeting room |
Place in the portfolio | a desktop collaboration monitor with a camera, microphones and speakers, certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom |
Good fit
A desktop workplace where the video call should work without assembling accessories. A shared hot desk where the user brings a laptop and plugs in a single USB-C cable. A home office on Microsoft Teams or Zoom. A desk where the phone should charge without a cable.
Verify
What resolution the customer expects on 23.8 inches, as the display is 1920 × 1080. Whether 45 W over USB-C is enough for the laptop. Whether there is a socket at the desk to power the device. Whether the video will arrive over HDMI or over USB-C. Which platform the workplace is to use.
Consider another model
For a meeting room a MeetingBar A video bar, that is the A10 for a huddle room and a home office or the A25 for a focus room. A MeetingBoard where the device should serve the whole room and replace the display as well. An ordinary monitor where the customer needs the picture alone and already has a camera and audio on the desk.
The "Verify" and "Consider another model" cards come from the experience of the atlantis team.

What to check before ordering and deploying
Video source: HDMI or USB-C with DP-IN, depending on what the user has on the laptop
Laptop power: up to 45 W over USB-C, check the draw of the particular laptop
Socket at the desk: the device is powered from DC 19 V with a 19 W draw
Resolution: the display is 1920 × 1080 on 23.8 inches, agree it with the customer up front
Platform: Microsoft Teams or Zoom, the device is certified for both
Network: the RJ-45 port or dual-band Wi-Fi, and the network rules for end devices
Peripherals: keyboard and mouse into the USB-A ports, the phone onto Qi wireless charging
Support: the AMS extended warranty, order it with the device
The atlantis team will help with every point. From designing the workplace through connecting the laptop and configuring the platform to training the users and handing over documentation.
Management and services
Management follows the platform: in native mode the device is managed from the administration of the platform the room runs.
Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS): cloud management of Yealink devices, that is bulk firmware updates, status monitoring and alerts. Support and the scope of management differ by model and licence, so check both with us for the specific device and system.
atlantis services for partners
atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we deliver projects through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope. On one project we take on the whole delivery, on another we cover just the part the partner currently lacks capacity or specialisation for, and on a third the partner manages alone and uses us only for a consultation.
Before the decision: a consultation on choosing the system and a comparison of the suitable options. The recommendation is built on the size and the character of the room, that is light, acoustics, shape, seating layout and furnishing, then on headcount and on how meetings are actually run there. We offer a live demonstration at our premises, which the partner can bring their customer to, and where it is warranted a test installation, that is a proof of concept.
Delivery and installation: transport, professional mounting and the work that goes with it, that is cabling, installation material, brackets and room alterations. We handle the installation in full, or support the partner's own team where needed.
Network readiness and security: we advise on preparing the network for the demands of two-way real-time video, that is throughput, latency and traffic prioritisation, and on securing the communication.
Configuration and integration: setting up the communication platform and the room account, connecting to the network, and advice on linking and integrating third-party software and hardware.
Training and documentation: training prepared to match the user's role, that is one thing for room users and another for administrators, plus preparation of both project and user documentation.
Service and support after the sale: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.
Warranty
The standard warranty on Yealink products is 24 months. On top of it we offer two different things that are easy to confuse.
Extended warranty
AMS
Extends the warranty period, that is how long the customer is entitled to repair or replacement of a faulty unit. The abbreviation stands for Assurance Maintenance Services.
1 to 3 years
Service programme
PrimeCare
Changes how the service is delivered. It covers priority support with escalation during business hours, advance hardware replacement with the unit dispatched the next business day from local European service stock, warranty service aligned with the licence period, the YMCS-Room-Professional package, software updates and access to the Yealink online support centre.
2 to 5 years
Take note
Which one to pick
A customer buys one of them, not both. AMS is enough where a longer warranty is all that is needed, PrimeCare is the choice where room downtime is expensive and the customer needs fast replacement and management. For video products the cap on total warranty is five years, and AMS is bought consecutively, so it must not leave a gap at the end of the existing warranty.
