Key features
23 types across 45 references, lengths from 0.3 m to 3.5 m, three length variants on most types
The numeric part of the code, that is 001, 018 or 024, marks the connector pair; the same number means the same connectors across lengths
Three module-side ends: DC 5.5 × 2.5 mm on the RC5-CE, DC 6.5 × 3.0 mm on the RC7-CE and 4pin Mini-DIN on the RC8 Gen2 CE
On the camera side DC barrel 5.5 × 2.5, 5.5 × 2.1, 6.5 × 3.0, 4.0 × 1.7 and 5.5 × 3.3 mm, plus EIAJ-IV, 4pin Mini-DIN and RJ11, straight and right-angle
The voltage along the cable is 12 V DC, identical on the RC5-CE, RC7-CE and RC8 Gen2 CE modules
The PPC-020 extension piece, right-angle DC 5.5 × 2.5 mm male to female, in three lengths up to 2.0 m
Description
The camera is powered through the kit, not from a socket beside it
The power supply connects to the module on the codec side. The kit carries power along the twisted pair to the camera and the module at the camera puts it out on its DC output. The PPC cable then links that output to the power input of the specific camera. No socket is needed at the camera, and with a camera on a wall or in a ceiling void that is usually the main reason the kit is deployed at all.
The connector decides, not the wattage
Every type carries the same DC power and they differ only in what sits on each end. One end matches the module output, the other the camera's power input. The choice is therefore a mechanical question, not an electrical one, and two connectors settle it. Our price list gives only one of them on many references, or just the word "cable", so the choice rests on the connector description in the variants table below.
PPC is not the mains lead
A PPC cable carries DC power inside the system, with 12 V DC along its run. The mains power supply is a separate WPS range and connects at the other end of the kit, to the module on the codec side. This is the most common mix-up we see on this range, and behind it is the price-list name "power cable", which gives away neither the side nor the voltage.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
The camera is powered from the kit module, so a camera on a wall or in a ceiling void needs no socket of its own
The same type number means the same connector pair, so a longer variant is ordered without further checking
The breadth of camera-side connectors covers less common ones too, that is EIAJ-IV, 4pin Mini-DIN and RJ11
The
PPC-020extension piece covers the case where the module ends up further from the camera than planned
Limits and what to tell the customer
On PPC-031 our code differs from the original. We carry PPC-031-1.0M and PPC-031-2.0M, the original code is
PPC-031-1.0andPPC-031-2.0without the trailing M. We align the code before ordering. On PPC-004 the size of the far connector does not match our description. The far end is 5.5 × 3.3 mm, our English description says EIAJ-IV, which is a different size, 5.5 × 5.0 × 1.0 mm. We confirm the connector before ordering.
The 3.5 A figure is the limit of the RC5-CE module output, not of the cable. On the longest type,
PPC-007-3.5M, that is worth noting.
⚑ atlantis note
How to pick the right item from the price list
The procedure has three steps. One, from the kit platform establish the connector on the module output at the camera, that is 5.5 × 2.5 mm on the RC5-CE, 6.5 × 3.0 mm on the RC7-CE and 4pin Mini-DIN on the RC8 Gen2 CE. Two, find the connector on the camera's power input, including whether it needs to be straight or right-angle. Three, choose the length. Only both ends together fix the code, one alone is not enough.
Ordering a replacement for an item from a kit?
Start from the kit, not from the connectors. The kit contents give the exact code including length, for example the RC8-CQC kit contains PPC-018-0.4M. Tell us which kit the customer has and we will trace the code.
Two references we are settling with the manufacturer
PPC-031 has the original code without the trailing M, that is PPC-031-1.0 and PPC-031-2.0. On PPC-004 the size of the far connector does not match our English description. On both we confirm the order so that a cable with the wrong connector is not shipped.
We do not carry the splitters
The range also includes PPC-006-1.0M and PPC-008-3.5M, a splitter described as "4-pin Mini-DIN to (2) 5.5×2.5mm DC Plugs" for powering two devices from one output. They are not in our price list; for a project we will source them.

Good fit
A replacement for a damaged or lost power cable from a kit. A different length of the same type when the module ends up further from the camera. Connecting a camera with a less common power input, that is EIAJ-IV, 4pin Mini-DIN or RJ11. Cases where no mains socket can be counted on at the camera position.
Verify
Which connector the module output has, that is which platform the kit uses. Which connector the camera's power input has and whether straight or right-angle suits. What length the installation needs. On PPC-031 the form of the code, on PPC-004 the size of the far connector.
Consider another range
Mains power for the kit is covered by the WPS range. Signal patch cables at the modules by the RCC range. The run between modules by installation cable, CAT6 or better. Extending an existing power cable is covered by the PPC-020 extension piece.
The "Verify" and "Consider another range" cards come from the experience of the atlantis team.
Which camera and codec
The module side is set by the kit platform, and for one kit also by a specific item in its contents. The camera side is determined by the power input of the specific model.

The atlantis team will help with every point. On power cables that means above all tracing the code from the kit and the camera model, confirming the disputed references and completing the supply and the signal cabling, so that one connector is not what holds up the site.
Management and services
No cloud management: These products have no central or cloud management. Passive kits and cabling need no configuration at all, active modules are set with DIP switches on the module itself.
Firmware on active modules: on modules that allow a firmware update, it is loaded from a microSD card directly into the module. The procedure differs by range, so check it with us for the specific kit.
atlantis services for partners
atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we supply through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope. On one project we are only the source of the parts and a consultation, on another we design the whole run and oversee the work, on a third we take on the installation in full.
Choosing the kit by camera and distance: we pick the kit from the camera or codec the customer already has, how far it sits from the equipment and which interface is used, that is HDMI, USB or fibre. We also say what to do about a device that is not on the compatibility list.
Route design and building readiness: we go through the cable run with the partner, the category and length of the cabling, the number and position of the boxes, the wall penetration and the space in the rack. On in-wall mounts the opening size and cavity depth are what matters, and we settle those before the order, not on site.
Completing the order: we match the kit with the right cables, power supply and mount, because that is exactly where jobs are left unfinished. We check that the pieces fit each other by connector and by length, and that nothing the partner needs on day one is missing from the delivery.
Installation and commissioning: we handle the professional installation in full, or support the partner's own team where needed. Once it is wired we test the link at full distance, that is picture, camera control and power, before the ceiling is closed.
Integration with the customer's environment: we advise on connecting to the codec, to the control system and to third-party software and hardware, and on how the kit behaves when the camera is swapped for a different model.
Service, spare parts and warranty: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We keep track of the replacement modules and parts by range and handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.

FAQ
How do I tell from the price list which power cable I need?
PPC power cables are chosen by two connectors. One has to match the output of the module at the camera, that is 5.5 × 2.5 mm on the RC5-CE, 6.5 × 3.0 mm on the RC7-CE or 4pin Mini-DIN on the RC8 Gen2 CE, the other the camera's power input. Only both ends together fix the code, with the length added last. Our price list gives only one end on many references, which is why this page gives the connectors of all 23 types.
Is a PPC cable the one that plugs into the wall?
PPC power cables carry DC power inside the system, with 12 V DC along the run. What connects to the mains is a supply from the WPS range, and it does so at the other end of the kit, at the module on the codec side. The kit then carries power along the twisted pair to the module at the camera, and from there the PPC cable feeds the camera.
Does the 3.5 A figure apply to the cable?
The highest current figure, 3.5 A, is the limit of the RC5-CE module output, not of the cable. The longest type in the range, PPC-007-3.5M, is 3.5 m.
Can I make up or shorten a cable myself?
The warranty excludes damage caused by incorrect wiring. Making up or altering a cable in the field is therefore not a route we would recommend, and at the customer it is a risk carried by the installation.
Why does our PPC-031 code differ from the original?
PPC power cables have the original code PPC-031-1.0 and PPC-031-2.0 on this reference, that is without the trailing M, while our price list has PPC-031-1.0M and PPC-031-2.0M. It is a difference in how the code is written that can hold up an order, so on this reference we confirm it before sending.
