Key features

  • A steel rail with epoxy paint, fitted between the rails of the mount and the back of the screen

  • It widens the fixing pattern to a larger VESA than the mount has natively, it does not change the load rating

  • Every adapter belongs to one specific POP-OUT size class and is not interchangeable between classes

  • The order ratio is one adapter set per screen, the same as for the mount

  • Adapter 620201 for sizes L and XL takes a screen up to 80 kg, the rail weighs 1.00 kg

  • Set 620011 covers two patterns under one code, 800 × 400 as well as 800 × 500

  • Portrait and landscape installation on adapter 620201

  • Omega adapter 620206 is not a VESA adapter, it is an interface piece between an XPO stand and a wall mount

Description

A POP-OUT mount has a native VESA pattern set by its size class. As soon as a screen has a larger pattern, an adapter rail is added that moves the fixing points out to the required dimension. The adapter sits between the rails of the mount and the screen, it does not change the load rating of the assembly, and the limit stays the load rating of the POP-OUT size class itself. In practice these are the items without which a large share of video wall projects cannot be completed, and at the same time the items most often forgotten in a quote.

Adapters are not universal. References 620001, 620201 and 620204 belong to sizes M, L and XL, with 620201 working only with L and XL. Reference 620210 belongs to size M and to the fixed mount 620060. References 620011, 620012, 620013 and 620208 belong exclusively to size XXL, ref. 620301, and are not interchangeable with the smaller classes. Omega adapter 620206 answers a different question: it makes it possible to build a video wall on XPO stands where the wall will not carry the load or where it must not be drilled.

The order of steps in a design is always the same. The screen weight sets the size class of the mount, the native VESA pattern of the screen tells you whether an adapter is needed at all, and only then is the specific adapter picked for that class. The reverse route, picking an adapter by the pattern with no regard for the class, leads to a part that does not fit the mount.

Strengths and limits

Strengths

  • They extend the usability of a mount to screens that could not be fitted on the native pattern

  • One set 620011 covers two patterns, 800 × 400 as well as 800 × 500, with no second order item

  • Adapter 620001 covers sizes M, L and XL under one code, which simplifies the bill of materials

  • Omega adapter 620206 opens up installation on stands where the wall must not be drilled

Limits and what to tell the customer

  • 620011, 620012, 620013 and 620208 belong exclusively to the POP-OUT XXL mount, ref. 620301. They do not fit the smaller sizes, and they always go into a quote together with mount 620301, one set per screen.

  • Adapter 620201 belongs to sizes L and XL, not to size M. Size M takes ref. 620210 with a maximum screen weight of 50 kg. Ordering 620201 for a size M mount ends in a part that does not fit.

  • An adapter changes the pattern, not the load rating of the mount. The limit of the assembly stays the load rating of the POP-OUT size class, that is 25 kg on Mini, 30 kg on M, 50 kg on L and 80 kg on XL. An adapter will not deliver a higher figure.

  • An assembly on XPO stands gains 175 mm of depth. That is the dimension of omega adapter 620206 on top of the wall clearance of the mount. Compatibility of 620206 with sizes Mini and XXL is not documented, what is documented is M, L, XL and the fixed micrometric mount ref. 620060.

⚑ atlantis note

XXL adapters only with the XXL mount

References 620011, 620012, 620013 and 620208 work only with the POP-OUT XXL mount, ref. 620301, with a 150 kg load rating. What belongs in a quote is therefore not the XXL adapter on its own but the assembly with mount 620301. An XXL adapter does not fit the M, L and XL mounts.

The 600 × 400 pattern has two different references

For sizes L and XL it is 620201, for size XXL it is 620012 and for size M it is 620210. The same pattern figure therefore does not mean the same part. An order always carries the pair of mount and adapter, not an adapter picked by the pattern on its own.

Quantities are counted per screen

An adapter is ordered at one set per screen, the same as the mount. On a 3 × 3 video wall that means nine mounts and nine adapter sets. This is the most common place where a video wall bill of materials goes wrong, because an adapter looks like a one-off accessory to the project.

Position in the portfolio

accessories for POP-OUT video wall mounts, not usable on their own, for indoor use

Suitable

A video wall where the native pattern of the mount does not reach the pattern of the specific screen. Assemblies on XPO stands, where the wall must not be drilled or will not carry the load, which is where omega adapter 620206 is added.

Verify

The size class of the mount the adapter belongs to. The native VESA pattern of the screen. The number of screens in the video wall, because a set covers one screen. On XPO assemblies the specific structural variant of the stand and the 175 mm added depth.

Consider another model

Size Mini, which takes set 620103 with a 400 × 300 pattern. That reference is not in our price list, we order it on request.

The “Suitable” field follows from the technical parameters of the group, the “Verify” and “Consider another model” fields from the practice of the atlantis team.

What to verify before ordering and installing

  1. Size class of the mount: the adapter is picked for it, not for the pattern on its own

  2. Native VESA pattern of the screen: only that tells you whether an adapter is needed at all

  3. Load rating of the assembly: it stays at the level of the mount size class, an adapter does not raise it

  4. Number of sets: one adapter set for every screen in the video wall

  5. Size XXL: adapters 620011, 620012, 620013 and 620208 only together with mount 620301

  6. Sizes M and Mini: size M takes 620210, set 620103 for Mini is not in the price list, we order it on request

  7. An assembly on XPO stands: the structural variant of the stand and the 175 mm added depth of the omega adapter

  8. Cabling after the pattern is widened: the cable slack still has to allow the screen to come fully out

The atlantis team helps with every point. From checking the video wall bill of materials through adding references outside the price list to installation, alignment and handover of the documentation.

Installation design and services

  • The weakest link sets the load rating of the assembly: in a stand plus screen mount plus shelf assembly, the lowest of the stated load ratings always applies. Check the screen weight in its own datasheet, not from the diagonal.

  • Check VESA before ordering: the stated range is the maximum pattern, not a guarantee that the screen fits. On large formats and on screens with curved or irregular backs, verify both the pattern and the thickness in advance.

  • The wall type decides the fixing hardware: plasterboard, masonry and concrete each need different anchors. On part of the range the wall screw set is not in the box and the fixing hardware is chosen on site to suit the wall.

  • Cabling and service access belong in the design, not on the installation day: cable routing inside the column, the wall penetration and access to the back of the screen have to be in the room layout before anyone drills.

atlantis services for partners

atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we supply through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope. On one project we are only the source of the parts and a consultation, on another we design the whole run and oversee the work, on a third we take on the installation in full.

  • Choosing the kit by camera and distance: we pick the kit from the camera or codec the customer already has, how far it sits from the equipment and which interface is used, that is HDMI, USB or fibre. We also say what to do about a device that is not on the compatibility list.

  • Route design and building readiness: we go through the cable run with the partner, the category and length of the cabling, the number and position of the boxes, the wall penetration and the space in the rack. On in-wall mounts the opening size and cavity depth are what matters, and we settle those before the order, not on site.

  • Completing the order: we match the kit with the right cables, power supply and mount, because that is exactly where jobs are left unfinished. We check that the pieces fit each other by connector and by length, and that nothing the partner needs on day one is missing from the delivery.

  • Installation and commissioning: we handle the professional installation in full, or support the partner's own team where needed. Once it is wired we test the link at full distance, that is picture, camera control and power, before the ceiling is closed.

  • Integration with the customer's environment: we advise on connecting to the codec, to the control system and to third-party software and hardware, and on how the kit behaves when the camera is swapped for a different model.

  • Service, spare parts and warranty: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We keep track of the replacement modules and parts by range and handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.

Warranty

The ERARD PRO range is passive mechanics, so the warranty covers the structure, the welds, the moving parts and the finish. The warranty term is not the same across the brand and for a given item it is what is stated below.

Standard

5 years

This product carries a 5 year warranty. It is shorter than the 10 years most of the ERARD PRO range has, so allow for that when you put a quote together.

Environment

Indoor use

The range is designed for indoor use. Outdoor installations, high humidity and aggressive environments are outside the scope of the warranty.

Take note

Installation per the manual

The warranty assumes installation per the manufacturer's manual and anchors suited to the wall construction. Exceeding the load rating or the VESA range is the most common reason a claim fails.

Frequently asked questions

Can I fit adapter 620201 on a size M mount?

No. Reference 620201 works with sizes L, ref. 620000, and XL, ref. 620120. Size M, ref. 620200, takes a separate reference 620210 with a maximum screen weight of 50 kg.

What are adapters 620011, 620012, 620013 and 620208 for?

They belong exclusively to the POP-OUT XXL mount, ref. 620301, with a 150 kg load rating. They do not fit the smaller sizes. What belongs in a quote is the whole assembly, that is mount 620301 and one adapter set per screen.

Does an adapter raise the load rating of the mount?

No. An adapter changes only the fixing pattern, not the load rating. The limit of the assembly stays the size class of the mount, that is 25 kg on Mini, 30 kg on M, 50 kg on L and 80 kg on XL. The maximum screen weight quoted on an adapter is the ceiling of that part, not an increase of the mount rating.

How many adapter sets go on a 3 × 3 video wall?

Nine, that is one set per screen, the same as nine mounts. An adapter is not a one-off accessory to the project but a part fitted between the rails of the mount and the back of each individual screen.

What does set 620011 cover?

Both patterns under one code, 800 × 400 as well as 800 × 500. Our price list name states only the first of the two, so the set does more than the name suggests. The same restriction applies to it as to the rest of the XXL adapters, it works with mount 620301 only, as does set 620208 for the 800 × 600 and 900 × 600 patterns.

What is omega adapter 620206 for?

It is not a VESA adapter. It is an interface piece between an XPO stand and a POP-OUT wall mount in size M, L or XL, or the fixed micrometric mount ref. 620060. It makes it possible to build a video wall on stands where the wall will not carry the load or must not be drilled, and it adds 175 mm of depth.
