A meeting room without a cabinet full of hardware

Poly Studio X52 removes the usual problem of medium meeting rooms: a set of camera, microphones, speakers and a mini PC that somebody has to install, cable and manage. Studio X52 puts all of it into one device. Installation means connecting a display, the network and power.

Everyone is seen and heard

The 20-megapixel camera captures in 4K and its 110° diagonal field of view covers a standard meeting room without cropping people at the ends of the table. Poly DirectorAI adapts the shot to whoever is speaking and can frame both individuals and the whole group, so the remote participant sees the meeting rather than a static wide shot of the room. Four microphones, two MEMS and two second-order, pick up sound at a range of up to 6.09 metres. Poly NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence suppress unwanted noise.

Teams, Zoom and Google Meet without compromise

The device runs native apps for Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet and also handles standards-based SIP and H.323 up to 6 Mbps. For the customer this means the platform decision is not a hardware decision. Switching between environments is done on the device, not by replacing equipment. Dialpad, GoToRoom, RingCentral and StarLeaf are supported as well.

Sharing without installing anything

Guests share content wirelessly over AirPlay or Miracast with nothing to install, or by cable over the HDMI input. Over USB the video bar can also serve as camera and audio for a connected laptop.

• For rooms larger than 20 × 15 ft choose Studio X70 or X72 with dual cameras

This SKU does not include a touch controller. Code 8D8K2AA is the video bar alone. If the customer needs native Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms mode with a control panel, order variant 8D8L1AA, which includes the Poly TC10.

The #ABB suffix is the European variant. Ordering #ABA is the most common mistake with HP products and the two are not interchangeable.

The box contains a display mounting clamp. A wall mount or VESA mount is not included and must be ordered separately.

Do I need a separate PC for Studio X52?
No. Teams, Zoom and Google Meet apps run on the device itself. A laptop is only needed in USB mode, where the video bar acts as camera and audio.

Is a touch controller included?
Not with this code (8D8K2AA). The Poly TC10 controller is part of variant 8D8L1AA.

Is a mount included?
The box contains a display mounting clamp. A wall mount (875L8AA) or VESA mount (875L9AA) is not included.

How large a room does the X52 suit?
HP states a room of 20 × 15 ft, roughly 6.1 × 4.6 metres. Microphones pick up to 6.09 m. For a deeper room add the 875M6AA table microphone; for a significantly larger space choose Studio X70 or X72.

Can the video bar be powered over PoE?
No, the video bar uses an AC adapter. Only the TC10 touch controller is powered over PoE, IEEE 802.3at class 0.
