What it is for

A power supply is the item most often forgotten in a project budget. On a device that does not ship with a supply or expects PoE, its absence means a room that does not work on installation day.

Verify before ordering whether the room has PoE of the required standard or whether an adapter will be needed. On one device it is a detail, across ten rooms it is a visible line.

On the B4 base the adapter is required where there is no PoE

The Rove 30 and 40 handsets, the B2 base and the R8 repeater all have an adapter in the box, so for them this code is a spare. The B4 base has no adapter in the box, being PoE powered. Where there is no PoE the adapter is required, and it is the line most often forgotten in a project budget.
