What it is for
Ear cushions are a consumable. They wear, harden, lose their shape and with it their seal, and on shared headsets they are a hygiene item as well. Replacing them restores the original comfort and noise isolation for a fraction of the price of a new headset.
In practice they are ordered in two situations. Either as planned maintenance of a headset fleet in a contact centre or open space, or when a headset passes to a new user, where replacement is a matter of hygiene. Companies with dozens of headsets do well to keep a small stock on the shelf.

What leatherette gives you
A leatherette surface isolates ambient noise better and wipes clean more easily, which makes it the usual choice for open space and contact centres.
What to expect
Leatherette breathes less well and in a warm room is less comfortable over a full day than foam.

Cushions look much alike across ranges, but the dimensions and the mounting differ. Always order against the headset's order code, not against a photograph. If you are not sure which code belongs to a given headset, we will verify it for you.
