What it is for
The microphones of the Poly Trio C60 conference phone pick up voices at a range of 6.1 metres. At a longer meeting table the participants at the far ends carry less well and the remote party hears them more quietly. The expansion microphones are placed further along the table and extend the pickup area.
Order them with the phone wherever the table exceeds six metres, or where the room shape puts participants at the ends at a disadvantage. They can also be added later.

When this is not enough
If expansion microphones still do not cover the room, up to four Trio C60 systems can be daisy-chained. We are happy to review the design.
Do not mix the kits
Kit 85X02AA is for Trio C60. The older Trio 8500 and 8800 models use kit 85X00AA, and the two are not interchangeable.
