A second module on an E500 series phone requires the phone to be powered over PoE+ (802.3at) or by an adapter.
What it is for
An expansion module is meant for reception desks, secretariats and dispatch, that is where one person watches the state of many lines and transfers calls to them with a single press. Dual-colour LEDs at the keys show the line status.
The module is ordered next to a phone, not instead of one. Before offering it, check the phone model, because it does not work with the E100 to E350 models.

E400 and E500 series only
According to the manufacturer the module is intended only for E400 and E500 series phones. It does not connect to the E100 to E350 models, even though the price list names the Edge E range in general. Order it against the phone model.
Number of modules and power
The module is powered by the phone (5 V, 1.6 A) and needs no adapter of its own. E400 series phones take one module, the E500 series two. For the second module the phone must be powered over PoE+ (802.3at) or by an adapter, so check the customer's switch before ordering.
Wall mounting is a separate item
For wall installation of the module we carry kit 8F3T8AA. Order it with the module, not after installation.
