The battery is the one part of a wireless headset that wears out predictably. After a few hundred charge cycles endurance drops far enough that the headset no longer lasts a working day, while the audio and range remain fine.

How to tell it is time
The typical symptom is that the headset no longer lasts a shift even when fully charged in the morning. If endurance drops well below the manufacturer's figure, the battery is done and the headset is otherwise fine.
