037615

NAGA PRO 1600 CARBON

the wider piece under a larger screen, dark finish and black steel

The finish is always two-tone, NORDIC or CARBON wood plus a black steel construction. The difference between 1400 and 1600 is the width of the body only, the depth of 480 mm and the height of 500 mm are the same on both. The width is therefore chosen by the screen width and the space at the wall, not by technical parameters.

Key features

  • Low AV furniture with a cabinet, not a mount: melamine wood panels and steel with textured epoxy paint in black

  • An integrated steel column, swivelling and tilting, with cable routing inside the profile

  • Screen centre height adjustable from 580 mm to 1200 mm, landscape orientation

  • Doors in tempered glass with black screen printing, they pass the IR signal of remotes

  • Opening on a gas strut, triple concealed hinges adjustable on two axes

  • A technical compartment for routing power cabling and a flap for storing charging cables

  • A Qi induction charging station in the top and a USB charger with four 5 V / 2.4 A ports

  • Adjustable feet in two heights, 386 mm and 450 mm, and ventilation through wide openings in the back panel

Description

NAGA PRO is low furniture for shared and collaborative spaces. It is not a mount and not a stand, even though our price list names it a mount for 1 monitor. It is a cabinet 1400 or 1600 mm wide with glass doors and a steel column that holds one screen. The typical deployment is a huddle room, a smaller meeting room, a reception and shared zones, where the screen should sit low above the furniture and the technology should be hidden but reachable.

The cabinet solves three things at once. The technology is closed behind tempered glass with black screen printing which passes the IR signal, so the codec and the player are operated with the doors shut. Power cabling goes into the technical compartment and upwards through the inside of the column, so nothing stays in sight. Ventilation is through wide openings in the back panel and the cooling is passive.

Against the rest of the ERARD PRO portfolio, NAGA PRO has one peculiarity, it also aims at direct contact with the user. There is a Qi induction charging station in the top and a USB charger with four 5 V / 2.4 A ports with Smart IC technology in the furniture. A flap in the top keeps the charging cables in order. For a meeting space where people put their phone on the surface, it is a function the other ranges of the brand do not have.

The screen is chosen by two numbers, the 50 kg load rating and the VESA range of 100 to 600 × 400. The diagonal is not a parameter of this range and cannot be the starting point. The column swivels and tilts and the screen centre height is adjustable from 580 mm to 1200 mm, so the same piece covers both a low position above the top and a position at the eye level of a standing person.

Strengths and limits

Strengths

  • A finished piece, not configured from modules, only the width and the finish are chosen

  • The screen mount and the column are included, nothing is bought on top of them

  • The glass passes IR, the technology in the cabinet is operated without opening the doors

  • Qi charging and a USB charger in the furniture itself, no extra box on the table

  • A 10 year warranty, the same service life as the rest of the brand's range

Limits and what to tell the customer

  • 50 kg is the ceiling. It is the lowest load rating of the brand's AV furniture that we list, and on large formats and interactive panels the weight has to be checked in the screen datasheet.

  • Qi charging delivers 5 W. It tops a phone up during a meeting, it is not a full fast charger. This expectation is better set in advance than explained after the installation.

  • Ventilation is passive through the openings in the back panel. A gap has to remain between the back of the furniture and the room wall, otherwise ventilation does not work and the piece cannot be pushed flush against the wall.

  • The furniture is not anchored and stands freely. The screen sits on a swivelling and tilting column, so the centre of gravity shifts as it turns, which has to be allowed for on large formats.

  • The product is not delivered assembled. Assembling the body, handling the glass doors and fitting the screen are a two-person job.

  • The diagonal is not a parameter of the range. What decides is the weight up to 50 kg and the VESA pattern of the specific screen, not its size in inches.

⚑ atlantis note

A mount in the price list, furniture in the room

Our price list name starts with the words “Mount for 1 monitor”, but the customer receives a low cabinet 1400 or 1600 mm wide with glass doors, a technical compartment and charging. A quote should carry the dimensions, the load rating and the equipment, not the word mount. Without that the item reads as an overpriced mount and the price is hard to defend.

Choose the width by the screen, not by parameters

The 1400 and 1600 versions share the depth of 480 mm, the height of 500 mm, the 50 kg load rating and the VESA range. They differ only in the width of the body. What decides is the screen width, the proportions in the room and the free run of wall, technically the two versions do not compete.

Leave a gap behind the back panel

Ventilation of the technology is passive through the openings in the back panel. Push the piece flush against the wall and it stops working. The room layout therefore has to carry a clearance from the wall and, with it, one 230 V supply brought into the technical compartment. Both are cheaper to settle in the design than after the installation.

The column turns, the centre of gravity moves

The column swivels and tilts and the furniture is anchored neither to the wall nor to the floor. Turning the screen shifts the centre of gravity of the assembly, and on heavier formats close to the 50 kg ceiling it shows. The adjustable feet of 386 mm and 450 mm are there to level the piece on an uneven floor, not to anchor it.

What to verify before ordering and installing

  1. Screen weight: from the screen datasheet, not from the diagonal, the ceiling of the range is 50 kg

  2. VESA pattern: the specific screen model within the 100 to 600 × 400 range

  3. Width of the piece: 1400 mm or 1600 mm against the free run of wall, the depth is 480 mm in both cases

  4. Clearance from the wall: a gap behind the back panel is the condition for working passive ventilation

  5. Power: one 230 V supply brought into the technical compartment

  6. Screen height: the 580 to 1200 mm range against the eye line of people seated in the room

  7. Installation: the product is not delivered assembled, assembly and fitting are a two-person job

  8. Charging expectations: Qi at 5 W tops a phone up during a meeting, it is not fast charging

The atlantis team helps with every point. From matching the width and finish to the specific screen through electrical readiness and cabling to installation, commissioning and handover of the documentation.

Installation design and services

  • The weakest link sets the load rating of the assembly: in a stand plus screen mount plus shelf assembly, the lowest of the stated load ratings always applies. Check the screen weight in its own datasheet, not from the diagonal.

  • Check VESA before ordering: the stated range is the maximum pattern, not a guarantee that the screen fits. On large formats and on screens with curved or irregular backs, verify both the pattern and the thickness in advance.

  • The wall type decides the fixing hardware: plasterboard, masonry and concrete each need different anchors. On part of the range the wall screw set is not in the box and the fixing hardware is chosen on site to suit the wall.

  • Cabling and service access belong in the design, not on the installation day: cable routing inside the column, the wall penetration and access to the back of the screen have to be in the room layout before anyone drills.

atlantis services for partners

atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we supply through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope. On one project we are only the source of the parts and a consultation, on another we design the whole run and oversee the work, on a third we take on the installation in full.

  • Choosing the kit by camera and distance: we pick the kit from the camera or codec the customer already has, how far it sits from the equipment and which interface is used, that is HDMI, USB or fibre. We also say what to do about a device that is not on the compatibility list.

  • Route design and building readiness: we go through the cable run with the partner, the category and length of the cabling, the number and position of the boxes, the wall penetration and the space in the rack. On in-wall mounts the opening size and cavity depth are what matters, and we settle those before the order, not on site.

  • Completing the order: we match the kit with the right cables, power supply and mount, because that is exactly where jobs are left unfinished. We check that the pieces fit each other by connector and by length, and that nothing the partner needs on day one is missing from the delivery.

  • Installation and commissioning: we handle the professional installation in full, or support the partner's own team where needed. Once it is wired we test the link at full distance, that is picture, camera control and power, before the ceiling is closed.

  • Integration with the customer's environment: we advise on connecting to the codec, to the control system and to third-party software and hardware, and on how the kit behaves when the camera is swapped for a different model.

  • Service, spare parts and warranty: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We keep track of the replacement modules and parts by range and handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.

Warranty

The ERARD PRO range is passive mechanics, so the warranty covers the structure, the welds, the moving parts and the finish. The warranty term is not the same across the brand and for a given item it is what is stated below.

Take note

Installation per the manual

The warranty assumes installation per the manufacturer's manual and anchors suited to the wall construction. Exceeding the load rating or the VESA range is the most common reason a claim fails.

Frequently asked questions

Is NAGA PRO a monitor mount?

It is not, even though that is how the name reads in our price list. It is low AV furniture with a cabinet, glass doors and an integrated steel column that carries one screen. The screen mount is part of the piece and is not ordered separately. The dimensions are 1400 × 480 × 500 mm and 1600 × 480 × 500 mm respectively.

Which screen belongs on NAGA PRO?

Two numbers decide, a weight up to 50 kg and a VESA pattern within the 100 to 600 × 400 range. The diagonal is not a parameter of this range, so the size in inches cannot be the starting point. Take both the weight and the pattern from the datasheet of the specific screen, on large formats and interactive panels they diverge from expectation the most.

What is the difference between the 1400 and the 1600 version?

The width of the body only. The depth of 480 mm, the height of 500 mm, the 50 kg load rating, the VESA range and the whole equipment are the same on both versions. The choice therefore follows the screen width, the proportions of the room and the free run of wall. Technically the two versions do not compete.

What do the NORDIC and CARBON finishes mean?

They are the colour of the wooden part. The construction is black steel with textured epoxy paint in both cases, so the result is always two-tone. NORDIC is light wood with black steel, CARBON a dark finish with black steel. A customer expecting a single-colour piece will get a different look from the one they pictured.

Does a remote work through the closed doors?

Yes. The doors are tempered glass with black screen printing and they pass the IR signal, so a codec, a player or a set-top box inside can be operated without opening them. The opening runs on a gas strut and triple concealed hinges adjustable on two axes.

How fast does the Qi station charge a phone?

The documented output of the induction zone is 5 W and on the 1600 version it is one zone of ø 68 × 28 mm. It tops a phone up during a meeting, it is not fast charging. Alongside it the furniture holds a USB charger with four 5 V / 2.4 A ports with Smart IC technology and a flap that keeps the charging cables in order.
