The bottom unit and the TopBOX are always ordered as a pair, the structure and a front panel to go with it. A structure on its own has no face and a face on its own cannot be used without a structure. None of the 44 references is a screen mount, that is ordered separately as ref. 510083 or 602501 from the XPO, KROSS and KAMELEO accessories family.
Key features
A modular system for huddle rooms and collaborative spaces, wood and steel with epoxy paint
Four installation modes from one system: mobile, freestanding, leaning on the wall and wall anchored
Load rating 70 kg, one screen up to 75 inches or two screens of 65 inches
Cable routing inside the column profile and inside the bottom unit
A perforated sheet in the bottom unit for fixing peripherals
Cooling by natural convection, with no fan
Four structure colours and eight front panel finishes, chosen independently
Cut-outs for front connectivity can be ordered on the TopBOX module only
Description
KAMELEO is modular AV furniture for shared and collaborative spaces. It answers a situation that keeps repeating in a huddle room and a small meeting room: the codec, the power supplies, the cabling and the peripherals should disappear from sight, the screen should sit at the right height and the room should stay visually clean. Against the bare column ranges XPO and KROSS, which are only a column and a base, KAMELEO adds closed cabinet modules.
The system is not ordered as one whole but module by module, and that is the most important thing about it. The mandatory base is two steps. Step 1 is a base according to the chosen installation mode, that is mobile, freestanding, leaning on the wall, or bottom sheet metal with a wall mount. Step 2 is the 1200 mm column, ref. 510030, which carries the cabling, the screen mount and the TopBOX. Step 3, the bottom unit, and step 4, the TopBOX, are optional and both are always ordered as a structure plus a front panel.
The screen mount is a separate step that you will not find in this family. None of the 44 KAMELEO references will carry a screen, so the assembly also needs ref. 510083, a mount for 1 screen with a VESA 200 > 400 pattern, or ref. 602501 with a VESA 200 > 800 × 400 pattern. We list both in the XPO, KROSS and KAMELEO accessories family. Without this step the assembly is furniture that no screen can be hung on.
The colour choice has two levels. The structure of the base, the bottom unit and the TopBOX comes in four finishes and each module is chosen independently, so they can be matched or deliberately contrasted. Front panels are chosen separately from seven laminates or from perforated metal. We list the 510030 column in anodised aluminium only, so the column colour is not a choice.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
One system covers four installation modes, a project does not mix several constructions
The technology disappears into a closed bottom unit with a perforated sheet for fixing it
Cabling runs inside the column profile and inside the cabinet, nothing stays in sight
Structure and front panel colours are chosen independently, the furniture matches the interior
A 10 year warranty, the same service life as the rest of the brand's range
Limits and what to tell the customer
The screen mount is not in this family. Without ref. 510083 or 602501 the assembly is incomplete. This is the most common reason half a KAMELEO order arrives.
Ref. 510030 is listed in our price list as a “Stand”, but it is the column of the system. Without a base from step 1 it is unusable, it is not a complete stand as in the XPO or KROSS range.
The bottom unit and the TopBOX are ordered as two items each, the structure and the front panel. Ordering only one of them does not give a working module.
References 510053 and 510073 are ordered with the RAL shade specified. Without a stated shade the order is incomplete, the documented finish is Signal black RAL 9004 satin.
Cooling is passive, by natural convection. The bottom unit takes devices that do not need forced cooling.
The product is not delivered assembled and an assembly with a screen up to 75 inches is fitted by two people.
⚑ atlantis note
Order by steps, not by pieces
Work through the configuration from the top: a base according to the installation mode, the 510030 column, optionally the bottom unit as a structure and face pair, optionally the TopBOX as a pair, and finally the screen mount 510083 or 602501. A complete assembly with hidden technology therefore has six or seven items, not one. We are glad to check a quote built in this order before it goes to the customer.
510030 is a column, not a stand
In our price list this reference is named “Stand”, but it is the load-bearing profile of the KAMELEO system, not a complete stand with a base. On its own it will not stand up. If a partner expects something like XPO or KROSS, where the base is included, they should hear it before the order goes out.
Choose the colour on the structure and the face, not the column
The structure comes in four finishes, the front panels in seven laminates plus perforated metal. We list the 510030 column in anodised aluminium only. A quote therefore carries the base colour, the bottom unit colour, the TopBOX colour and the finish of both faces, but not a column colour.
The installation mode decides the footprint
The leaning version is 423 mm deep against 575 mm on the freestanding one, that is 152 mm shallower, and in a narrow room that tends to decide. The mobile version is 71 mm higher because of the castors, 1832 mm instead of 1761 mm. Check the dimensions against the room layout before you pick a base.
Which installation
System coverage | load rating 70 kg, one screen up to 75 inches or two screens of 65 inches |
|---|---|
Installation modes | mobile, freestanding, leaning on the wall and wall anchored, by the chosen base |
Position in the portfolio | modular AV furniture with a column, for indoor professional installations |
Suitable
A huddle room and a small meeting room where the codec, the power supplies and the cabling should be hidden in a closed body and the room should stay clean. Spaces where the same furniture goes into several rooms and needs a different installation mode in each.
Verify
Which installation mode the room allows and whether the footprint fits. The weight and VESA pattern of the specific screen against the chosen mount. Whether the selected technology copes with passive cooling. On the anchored and leaning versions, the wall construction and the anchors.
Consider another model
A screen above 75 inches or above 70 kg, a 19 inch rack larger than 4U, low furniture under the screen with no tall column, a bare column with no cabinet, an installation on the wall with no furniture.
The “Suitable” field follows from the technical parameters of the system, the “Verify” and “Consider another model” fields from the practice of the atlantis team.

What to verify before ordering and installing
Installation mode: mobile, freestanding, leaning on the wall, or anchored, which gives the base code
Footprint and height: 730 × 575 mm or 730 × 423 mm, height 1761 mm or 1832 mm against the room layout
The column in the order: ref. 510030 is mandatory and will not stand up without a base
The screen mount: ref. 510083 or 602501, there is no mount in the KAMELEO family
The screen: weight up to 70 kg and the VESA pattern from the datasheet, not from the diagonal
Pairs on the cabinets: the bottom unit and the TopBOX always as a structure plus a front panel
The RAL shade: on ref. 510053 and 510073 the perforated metal shade is specified with the order
Anchoring and technology: a load-bearing wall and anchors on the anchored and leaning versions, passive cooling for the technology
The atlantis team helps with every point. From putting the configuration together module by module through matching the mount to the specific screen to installation, commissioning and handover of the documentation.
Installation design and services
The weakest link sets the load rating of the assembly: in a stand plus screen mount plus shelf assembly, the lowest of the stated load ratings always applies. Check the screen weight in its own datasheet, not from the diagonal.
Check VESA before ordering: the stated range is the maximum pattern, not a guarantee that the screen fits. On large formats and on screens with curved or irregular backs, verify both the pattern and the thickness in advance.
The wall type decides the fixing hardware: plasterboard, masonry and concrete each need different anchors. On part of the range the wall screw set is not in the box and the fixing hardware is chosen on site to suit the wall.
Cabling and service access belong in the design, not on the installation day: cable routing inside the column, the wall penetration and access to the back of the screen have to be in the room layout before anyone drills.
atlantis services for partners
atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we supply through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope. On one project we are only the source of the parts and a consultation, on another we design the whole run and oversee the work, on a third we take on the installation in full.
Choosing the kit by camera and distance: we pick the kit from the camera or codec the customer already has, how far it sits from the equipment and which interface is used, that is HDMI, USB or fibre. We also say what to do about a device that is not on the compatibility list.
Route design and building readiness: we go through the cable run with the partner, the category and length of the cabling, the number and position of the boxes, the wall penetration and the space in the rack. On in-wall mounts the opening size and cavity depth are what matters, and we settle those before the order, not on site.
Completing the order: we match the kit with the right cables, power supply and mount, because that is exactly where jobs are left unfinished. We check that the pieces fit each other by connector and by length, and that nothing the partner needs on day one is missing from the delivery.
Installation and commissioning: we handle the professional installation in full, or support the partner's own team where needed. Once it is wired we test the link at full distance, that is picture, camera control and power, before the ceiling is closed.
Integration with the customer's environment: we advise on connecting to the codec, to the control system and to third-party software and hardware, and on how the kit behaves when the camera is swapped for a different model.
Service, spare parts and warranty: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We keep track of the replacement modules and parts by range and handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.
Warranty
The ERARD PRO range is passive mechanics, so the warranty covers the structure, the welds, the moving parts and the finish. The warranty term is not the same across the brand and for a given item it is what is stated below.
Standard
10 years on the mechanics
This product carries a 10 year warranty, which ERARD PRO gives on most of its range. It covers the mechanics and the finish in indoor use.
10 years
Environment
Indoor use
The range is designed for indoor use. Outdoor installations, high humidity and aggressive environments are outside the scope of the warranty.

Take note
Installation per the manual
The warranty assumes installation per the manufacturer's manual and anchors suited to the wall construction. Exceeding the load rating or the VESA range is the most common reason a claim fails.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly do I have to order for the assembly to work?
At minimum a base according to the installation mode, the column 510030 and the screen mount 510083 or 602501. A typical assembly with hidden technology adds the bottom unit as a structure and front panel pair and the TopBOX as a pair as well. Ordering the column alone or the base alone does not give usable furniture.
Is a screen mount included in any of the 44 KAMELEO references?
It is not. None of the listed references will carry a screen, the mount is a separate item. Our price list holds 510083 with a VESA 200 > 400 pattern and 602501 with a VESA 200 > 800 × 400 pattern, both in the XPO, KROSS and KAMELEO accessories family.
Ref. 510030 is named “Stand” in our list, so do I get a complete stand?
No. It is the column of the KAMELEO system, 1200 mm long, that is a load-bearing aluminium profile which routes the cabling and carries the screen mount and the TopBOX. Without a base from step 1 it will not stand up. A complete stand with a base is what the XPO and KROSS ranges offer, not this reference.
Why does the bottom unit have two codes?
Because it is ordered as a pair. The structure with a back panel in perforated metal is one item, 510041 to 510044, and the front panel is the second item, laminate 510046 to 510052 or perforated metal 510053. The same holds for the TopBOX. A structure on its own has no face and a face on its own cannot be used without a structure.
What colour is the column and can I choose it?
We list the column 510030 in anodised aluminium and the column colour is not a choice. What is chosen is the structure colour of the base, the bottom unit and the TopBOX from four finishes and, independently of it, the front panel finish from seven laminates or from perforated metal. The modules do not have to share a colour.
What is the difference between KAMELEO and KAMELEO XXL?
They are two different assemblies. Standard KAMELEO, which all 44 references cover, has a 1200 mm column, a height of 1761 mm, a 70 kg load rating and one screen up to 75 inches. KAMELEO XXL has a 1500 mm column, a height of 2060 mm, a 120 kg load rating and one screen up to 98 inches or two of 85 inches. We do not list XXL in our price list.
