The Link 230 is a simple adapter without controls, the Link 260 adds call control, and the Link 265 connects two headsets to one computer for training. Description
A QD headset reaches the computer
Corded Jabra headsets with a QD (Quick Disconnect) connector connect to a phone or a computer through a connecting cord or an adapter. The Jabra Link 230 is exactly such an adapter: a QD connector on one side, USB on the other, no installation and no controls. It extends a QD headset with a connection to a computer and works with common softphones. The customer can therefore keep using the same headset where it is already in place.
Call control on the cable
The Jabra Link 260 is a USB adapter with a controller. On it the user answers and ends a call, puts it on hold, adjusts volume and mutes the microphone, and the buttons are programmable. The adapter has DSP and acoustic shock protection. The headset can thus be used with a desk phone as well as with a softphone. The MS version with code 260-19 is certified for Skype for Business.
Training a new agent side by side
The Jabra Link 265 is not an adapter for one headset but a USB/QD training Y-cable. It connects two QD headsets to one computer, so a supervisor or trainer hears the agent's call and, as needed, stays muted or joins the call. Code 14208-38 belongs to this group only as a connector adapter from USB-C to USB-A.
Strengths and limits
Strengths

Link 230 and Link 260 for any corded Jabra QD headset
Link 260 gives the user call control right on the cable

Limits and what to tell the customer
These are not headsets. The QD headset has to be ordered separately.
The Link 230 has no call controller. Calls are controlled in the softphone on the computer.
The MS version 260-19 is certified for Skype for Business. If the customer requires Microsoft Teams certification, check with us.
We will confirm the USB connector type and cable length of the adapters at the order, as well as current availability of the Link 260 and Link 265.
⚑ atlantis note
Which code to order
Link 230 (230-09) where controlling the call in the softphone is enough for the user. Link 260 (260-09, MS version 260-19) where the user wants to answer calls, mute the microphone and change volume on the cable. Link 265 (265-09) only for training, when an agent and a supervisor sit at one computer, each with their own QD headset.
Every adapter needs a QD headset
The adapter on its own neither plays sound nor picks up the voice. Plan for a corded Jabra headset with a QD connector, for example from the GN2100, BIZ 1500, BIZ 2300 or BIZ 2400 II ranges in the QD version. The Link 230 is also listed as an accessory of the BIZ 1500 headset.
Adapter 14208-38 is not a QD adapter
Code 14208-38 is an adapter from USB-C (female) to USB-A (male). It has no QD connector and does not connect a QD headset to a computer. Check with us before ordering which device the customer needs it for.

Good fit
Moving existing QD headsets from desk phones to a softphone, softphone workstations where the headset is to stay on QD, and training new agents in a contact centre.
Verify
Whether the customer has Jabra QD headsets. Whether the user wants controls on the cable, for the choice between Link 230 and 260. Any requirement for Microsoft Teams certification. What USB ports the computers have.
Consider another model
The Link 950 when a USB headset is to work with a desk phone and a computer at once. A BIZ 2300 or BIZ 2400 II headset in the USB version when the customer is only now buying headsets and does not need QD.
The "Verify" and "Consider another model" cards come from the experience of the atlantis team.

Controls: Link 230 without a controller, Link 260 with call control
Platform: the MS version
260-19is certified for Skype for Business; check Microsoft Teams certification with usTraining: the Link 265 connects two QD headsets to one computer
Adapter:
14208-38is only a USB-C to USB-A adapter and has no QD connectorComputer ports: we will confirm the adapter's USB connector type at the order
Wideband headsets: we will confirm support for a given adapter at the order
Availability: for the Link 260 and Link 265 we will confirm it at the order
Softphone: whether the customer's softphone takes the controls from the Link 260, test on a sample
The atlantis team will help with every point. With the Link adapters the usual questions are whether the Link 230 without a controller is enough or the Link 260 is needed, and which QD headsets the customer actually has.
Management and services
Jabra Direct: the manufacturer's free application for Windows and macOS. It updates firmware, adjusts device settings such as sidetone or hearing protection, and handles call control in softphones.
Jabra Plus: cloud management of Jabra devices for IT, that is scheduled bulk firmware updates, configuration, status monitoring and inventory. Support and the scope of management differ by model, so check both with us for the specific device and deployment.
atlantis services for partners
atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we supply through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope, according to their own capacity and skills, from a consultation alone to taking on the whole deployment.
Before the decision: a consultation on the model and the order code and a comparison of the suitable variants. We base the recommendation on the user's role, because a contact centre agent, a manager on the move and a shared workstation each need a different headset. We arrange a sample to try so the customer can check comfort, audio and range before ordering for a whole team.
Deployment and configuration: bulk settings and management of the headsets, connection to the communication environment, and advice on linking third-party software and hardware.
Training and documentation: training prepared to match the user's role, plus preparation of the user documentation.
Service and support after the sale: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.
Warranty
The product carries the standard Jabra warranty, and we will confirm its length for the specific order code with your order.
