Description

Over-ear cups and hybrid ANC for focused work

The Jabra Evolve2 85 is a stereo headband headset with over-ear cups, intended for focused work in a noisy environment. Digital hybrid active noise cancellation damps the room for the user, and ten MEMS microphones handle both the call and noise cancellation. The speakers are 40 mm with a sensitivity of 117 dB.

Wireless and over a jack cable

The headset connects to a computer through the Link 390 adapter in the box and to a phone directly over Bluetooth 5.0, with a range of up to 30 metres and two simultaneous connections. The box also holds a 3.5 mm jack cable, so the headset can be used corded as well. The busylight is visible from all angles and shows calls and Microsoft Teams notifications.

Battery life and a quick top-up

With ANC and busylight off it delivers up to 26 hours of talk time, with both on up to 21 hours. A full charge takes up to 140 minutes; after 30 minutes the battery is at 30 percent and after 60 minutes at 60 percent. With the stand codes the headset charges on the desk.

Limits and what to tell the customer

A weight of 286 grams. For a user who wants a light headset, this needs saying up front.
Stereo only. The Evolve2 85 has no mono version.
UC branch with USB-A only with a stand. A code without a stand in this combination is not in our range.
The successor range is on the market. The Evolve3 85 has been available since March 2026 and the Evolve3 range replaces the Evolve2 range.

How to read the order code

The middle group sets the branch: 999 is MS for Microsoft Teams and 989 is UC. The last group sets the adapter and the stand: 999 is USB-A, 899 is USB-C, 989 is USB-A with a stand and 889 is USB-C with a stand. The reading comes from matching the variant names, and we always confirm it at the order.

Link 390 adapter by laptop ports

The box holds a Link 390 Bluetooth adapter, as the Link 390a on USB-A codes and as the Link 390c on USB-C codes. The USB cable in the box is USB-C to USB-A. We carry spare adapters in MS and UC versions and with both connectors, and we will confirm the right code for a given headset at the order.

Black only

Our range holds black codes only. The beige version was discontinued on 31 May 2023, so for the Evolve2 85 we offer black stands, black ear cushions and a black carry case.

Jabra Direct: the manufacturer's free application for Windows and macOS. It updates firmware, adjusts device settings such as sidetone or hearing protection, and handles call control in softphones.
Jabra Plus: cloud management of Jabra devices for IT, that is scheduled bulk firmware updates, configuration, status monitoring and inventory. Support and the scope of management differ by model, so check both with us for the specific device and deployment.

atlantis services for partners

atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we supply through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope, according to their own capacity and skills, from a consultation alone to taking on the whole deployment.

Before the decision: a consultation on the model and the order code and a comparison of the suitable variants. We base the recommendation on the user's role, because a contact centre agent, a manager on the move and a shared workstation each need a different headset. We arrange a sample to try so the customer can check comfort, audio and range before ordering for a whole team.
