Description
Softphone and desk phone on one base
The Jabra Engage 65 SE is a professional DECT headset with a base for contact centres and offices. The base connects one USB device, that is a softphone or a USB desk phone, and one analogue phone at the same time. The desk phone connects with a phone cable to its headset port. A phone without that port is served by the GN1000 handset lifter, and remote call control by an optional Jabra EHS adapter.
Density and security for larger operations
The headset works with Secure DECT level C and allows up to three times higher headset density in one area. Capacity for NA and EU is 70 and 145 in wideband, 95 and 190 in narrowband. Up to three more headsets join a conference on one base, and all versions have a busylight.
Battery life and charging
Stereo and mono last up to 13 hours of talk time, the convertible up to 9 hours, both with the busylight off. A full charge takes up to 90 minutes, 30 minutes bring the battery to 40 % and 60 minutes to 80 %, and emergency charging is available. On stereo and mono the user can replace the Li-ion battery.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
Softphone and analogue phone at the same time on one base
Up to three times higher headset density for larger operations
User-replaceable battery on stereo and mono
Conference of up to four headsets on one base
Limits and what to tell the customer
The base does not connect a mobile over Bluetooth. For a mobile, the Engage 75 SE is intended.
Check Microsoft Teams certification with us; the codes are not split into MS and UC versions.
The convertible version offers less: range up to 100 metres, up to 9 hours of talk time, one microphone and no Microsoft Open Office.
Neither the EHS adapter nor the GN1000 lifter is in the box; both are chosen by phone.
⚑ atlantis note
How to read the code
The first group sets the wearing style: 9659 stereo, 9653 mono, 9655 convertible. The 553 group marks the Engage 65 SE, the -111 ending the EMEA version and the -1 suffix the Low Power version, which exists only for stereo and mono. Example: 9653-553-111-1 is mono in the Low Power version. Check with us which environment the Low Power version suits.
Desk phone, EHS and handset lifter
A phone with a headset port connects with the supplied phone cable. Remote call answering needs a Jabra EHS adapter for the phone model, and a phone without a headset port is served by the GN1000 mechanical handset lifter 1000-04. Send us the phone model and we will confirm the solution at the order.
Replacement base and power
We carry a replacement base for stereo and mono under code 14217-03; for the convertible version, check with us. The power supply is in the box, and the EMEA replacement is 14207-42.

The atlantis team will help with every point. With the Engage 65 SE the usual questions are the connection to a specific desk phone and the number of headsets in one area. We settle both from the phone model and the workplace layout.
Management and services
Jabra Direct: the manufacturer's free application for Windows and macOS. It updates firmware, adjusts device settings such as sidetone or hearing protection, and handles call control in softphones.
Jabra Plus: cloud management of Jabra devices for IT, that is scheduled bulk firmware updates, configuration, status monitoring and inventory. Support and the scope of management differ by model, so check both with us for the specific device and deployment.
atlantis services for partners
atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we supply through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope, according to their own capacity and skills, from a consultation alone to taking on the whole deployment.
Before the decision: a consultation on the model and the order code and a comparison of the suitable variants. We base the recommendation on the user's role, because a contact centre agent, a manager on the move and a shared workstation each need a different headset. We arrange a sample to try so the customer can check comfort, audio and range before ordering for a whole team.
Deployment and configuration: bulk settings and management of the headsets, connection to the communication environment, and advice on linking third-party software and hardware.
Training and documentation: training prepared to match the user's role, plus preparation of the user documentation.
Service and support after the sale: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.
Warranty
