Description
USB for the computer, QD for the phone
The Jabra BIZ 2300 is a corded headset for contact centres with a headband, in Mono and Duo versions. The USB and USB-C versions have a call controller on the cable and come in an MS branch for Microsoft Teams and a UC branch. The QD version connects to a desk phone with a connecting cable, or to a computer with a Jabra Link adapter.
A microphone on a rotating boom
The microphone is unidirectional and noise-cancelling, with a sensitivity of -30 dB V/Pa ±2 dB. The microphone frequency range is 100 Hz to 10 kHz on QD and 101 Hz to 10 kHz on USB. The flexible boom rotates through 360°.
A wider band on USB and on QD Wideband
The USB version carries calls at 150 Hz to 6.8 kHz and music at 70 Hz to 16 kHz. Standard QD ends at 4.5 kHz for calls; the QD Wideband variant carries calls up to 6.8 kHz, the same as USB. Hearing protection is provided by PeakStop with a limit of 118 dBA SPL.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
A USB-C version for computers without a USB-A port
In-line controller: volume, mute, answer, end and reject a call, hold
Mono and Duo in both the MS and UC branches
Low weight, 43 g without cable on the Mono
Limits and what to tell the customer
QD does not connect on its own. A phone needs a connecting cable, a computer a Jabra Link adapter.
The QD version has no certification; only the USB versions in the MS branch are Microsoft Teams certified.
Standard QD ends at 4.5 kHz for calls. For a wider band, order QD Wideband or USB.
It is worn with a headband. A mono in the 3-in-1 wearing style is offered by the BIZ 2400 II.
⚑ atlantis note
How to read the order code
A start of 230x means QD, 238x QD Wideband and 239x USB. The last digit of the first group 3 is Mono and 9 Duo. The middle group: 820 NC, 825 NC Bal, 823 MS and 829 UC. On USB the suffix 109 is the USB version and 189 USB-C.
QD needs a cable or an adapter
A QD headset connects to a computer with a Jabra Link 230 or Link 260 adapter, which is compatible with any corded Jabra QD headset. The Link 260 has a controller and also comes in an MS version. We will choose the connecting cable for a desk phone to match the specific phone; send us the phone type with the enquiry.
Cushions and microphone covers
For headsets in all-day use, plan for replacing cushions and microphone covers. For the BIZ 2300 we carry foam cushions 14101-04, leatherette King size 14101-02 and foam microphone covers 14101-03, all in packs of 10.

The atlantis team will help with every point. With the BIZ 2300 the usual questions are USB against USB-C and, on QD, the connection to a specific phone. We settle both by the customer's equipment, or on a sample, which we will lend.
Management and services
Jabra Direct: the manufacturer's free application for Windows and macOS. It updates firmware, adjusts device settings such as sidetone or hearing protection, and handles call control in softphones.
Jabra Plus: cloud management of Jabra devices for IT, that is scheduled bulk firmware updates, configuration, status monitoring and inventory. Support and the scope of management differ by model, so check both with us for the specific device and deployment.
atlantis services for partners
atlantis is a direct importer and distributor, and we supply through a network of specialist partners. The services below are therefore offered to the partner, not to the end customer. The partner sets the scope, according to their own capacity and skills, from a consultation alone to taking on the whole deployment.
Before the decision: a consultation on the model and the order code and a comparison of the suitable variants. We base the recommendation on the user's role, because a contact centre agent, a manager on the move and a shared workstation each need a different headset. We arrange a sample to try so the customer can check comfort, audio and range before ordering for a whole team.
Deployment and configuration: bulk settings and management of the headsets, connection to the communication environment, and advice on linking third-party software and hardware.
Training and documentation: training prepared to match the user's role, plus preparation of the user documentation.
Service and support after the sale: our certified team in Czech, available to the partner throughout the equipment's life. We handle a warranty claim with the manufacturer on the partner's behalf.

The standard Jabra warranty on this product is 2 years from the date of purchase.
