Overview

A microphone closer to people

A video bar picks up voices only out to a limited distance. At a long table or in a deeper room, participants at the far end sound weak. The Poly Studio A2 table microphone brings the pickup right to them. Four uni-directional cardioid elements capture voices around the microphone and reject sound from other directions, meaning wall reflections and equipment noise.

It does not connect directly to the video bar

The microphone connects through the Poly Studio A2 Audio Bridge (B22X2AA), which runs to the video bar over a single Ethernet cable. Without the bridge the microphone has nothing to connect to, so both parts always belong in the quote.

Daisy chaining

Microphones can be connected in series. That is why the box contains, alongside the 6 metre JST to Phoenix input cable, a 2 metre JST to Phoenix daisy-chain output cable and a 1.8 metre JST to JST daisy-chain cable. Cabling in the table is considerably simpler as a result.

How many microphones per device

The maximum depends on the device. The Poly Studio G62 supports up to eight microphones, the Studio X72, V72, X52 and V52 video bars up to four, the Studio X32 two and the Studio V12 one.

Compatibility is tied to the listed Poly models, do not assume it for other devices.
Cables can be run across the tabletop or hidden through a grommet underneath. Drilling is a choice, not a requirement. The standard manufacturer warranty is one year.

Counts per model

Colour
